Lab Mom: After having one that had a plastic water bottle that you filled and attached to a drinking tray the length of the water bottle for more than a year, I searched for a new one because I had dropped and cracked the tray and Crazy Glue would not hold it together well. None of the ones I looked at appeared to even hold that much water. I liked that this one is "leak proof" as I attached a carbiner to it to hook it onto the loop on my denim shorts and it does not leak at all. That said, I have to agree with some of the other reviews that the button you have to hold down to release water into the drinking tray does not always dispense the water - sometimes I have to push, push, push it until I see bubbles rising in the tank before it will release water. My last one would easily stand up on it's own on the counter or any flat surface - this one gets turned upside-down to do the same. Also, when I fill the water to the brim and put on the base and turn it over, about 1/4 of the water goes into the "dispensing" section. I'd love to be able to add more water but it's impossible. Amazon Customer: Nice looking, holds a decent amount of water. I would still bring and extra water bottle but I have very warm dogs so they need a lot of water. I had to pump the button for water to come out, not a big deal but kinda annoying one handed. Don’t know if it’s supposed to do that but mine does so I’ll deal with it. Other then that no problems.

Alan F. Jordano: Product arrived on time and well packaged. Works well with no leaks. My only complaint it that it is quite slow to fill the drinking trough. Holding it at different angles helps it to fee air back into the bottle and flow a little better. That is not a deal breaker. Just expect that it will not fill the trough instantly. Very easy to carry in any type of shoulder pack or backpack.

Josh Morgan: It arrived a day earlier than expected, and came in a sturdy box. The color and shape were exactly as advertised. I got it in pink and everything was the same as the photos. It's very easy to use - just press the button and tilt forward, and water comes out almost like a small waterfall. If your dog doesn't finish what's in the bowl, simply press the button and tilt back, and the water will flow back into the bottle. There are a few drops that won't go in but that isn't a problem at all. The 'stop' button wasn't 100% effective, but the water doesn't leak regardless. The bottle is made of thick, study plastic that seems to combat some of the heat from outside. It was absolutely perfect for my 6 lb Chihuahua. I HIGHLY recommend this bottle!
