I ordered two 20x30 replacement pads, and received two smaller 16x20 pads; which after measuring, are really more like 18x22. Living on a boat, while in transit - finding places to deliver uncommon products like these can be a challenge. When we do find a place, we like to stock up on items that cannot be found in smaller communities. At nearly $30 per pad, it was quite the disappointment to have picked up my package, only to realize later that it doesn't fit in the tray. Otherwise, it is a decent product - if you keep up with the cleaning. We use an eco-friendly soap & a liquid pet deodorizer; daily cleaning will allow it to last about 1.5 to 2 months before replacing.

Kim Hutchinson: Overall the quality is fair, but not fantastic. It looses a lot of plastic grass when cleaning. It kind of just falls off. and you have to catch it before going down the drain. Not sure how great that is for the drain pipes. Would be nice to have better quality, better finished edges so it doesn't fray apart. The size is also a bit small, would appreciate size choices.

Cheryl Barneski: This product is super for little dog’s. I don’t think I would use it for a medium or large dog. But for a little dog it suits indoor usage. We like the easy to clean and deodorize feature of this pet poddy replacement pad.

Linda: I wish this product was waterproof so it didn’t retain all the urine. I use a pee pee pad on the tray and it is always dry. My toy poodles pee gets trapped in the base of the turf and just smells. I live in a condo so I have to wash it in the bathtub every few weeks. Please make a turf that lets ALL the urine flow through. I would gladly pay more if this existed.

Jenni: Bought this as a backup when l am washing the dirty one so my puppy always has a place to go while the washed turf is drying. It’s easy to clean by just soaking it, rinsing well and hanging to dry. I’ve had my original pee turf for over a year and is still working out great. I have never noticed any odor from the turf and l switch them out every 2 weeks. I have a teacup Yorkie so it’s perfect to have especially in winter as she wouldn’t handle really cold conditions outside. The price is very reasonable and the pee turf is durable. I would recommend this product highly.

Jasmine Shek: We got this as a compromise for price (the ones with the bin are so expensive)! We put a puppy pee pad underneath and situated the turf on our balcony. At first, he didn't know what to do with it.

So, when he went outside to pee normally, we took the turf with us and rubbed the urine scent on it. Since doing that, he knows to go potty on the turf!

It's also pretty easy to clean, as we just take the puppy pee pad and swap it out every two-times he goes!

di5c0rd1a: My two chihuahuas love to crap on this stuff. I live in the arctic tundra wasteland of Minnesota and I can't imagine why they absolutely will not go potty outside when it's -50 windchill. It took a while to get them into using it, but eventually they took to it. I put pads under the grass. Way easier to clean up than trying to carry a 2 foot long tray of pee to the shower or sink to hose it off. I use dish soap and baking soda to clean 2ish times a week. The grass does shed quite a bit when cleaning it. And it does start to stink after a couple of months, but at 20 bux a pop I'll just buy a new one a few times over the course of a year.

Lynn Wall: I read a lot of reviews about setting up the indoor dog potty system & it would not have been my preferred choice for puppy training. However, I got my 6 lb puggle puppy in January & it has been a rough Wisconsin winter so he did not have the endurance to do walks in the snow & ice. That meant I needed to develop an effective system for potty training until we can convert to daily walks. I am not keen on having the associated smells that go along with an indoor system; there is nothing worse than walking into your house & immediately smelling animal waste. I have figured out how to make sure there is no smell but it doesn't come without some work.

I purchased 2 of these synthetic grass pads to work with the tray that I purchased separately. Complaints about the turf was the inevitable smell & deterioration over time. What I do is line the tray first with a pee pad & then put the turf on top of it. The pee pad is changed each day, rolled up, wrapped & tied in a plastic bag & then disposed of so my kitchen garbage doesn't smell. Each week, I take the entire tray & grass pad down to my laundry tub & run the water so it is smoking hot. I...
