Chewy: Accidentally purchased two pair, but LOVE them, so it’s okay! Wish I accidentally got another colour though..
If there’s anything critical I could conjure it would be the elastic around the waste is 1.5inches, so it twists and I could imagine it digging .. reiterate: LOVE THEM

Update: (2022) still love them but very disappointed about the MINIMUM $20.00 cost hike on these one year later.

Amazon Customer: I usually wear a medium in pants but because of reviews that stated that the waist band was a bit small I ordered a medium and a large. The waist band in the large was barely bigger than the medium but the amount of fabric used in the leg portion of the pants was noticeable more substantial. So even though I preferred the slightly larger waist band on the large size, I went with the medium because the overall look was more flattering. The excess of fabric on the large actually made me look slightly bigger. They are super comfy and although the sides do open up all the way to the waist it hasn’t been an issue for me so far. But you do need to be aware of it when you sit or squat. Just in case. Haha. All in all. Quite possibly my new favorite pants. I hope that helps!

n. marie: The fabric is really good quality and the garment is well made. One thing the ad didn't show was that the slit on the sides actually go right up to the waist. The back of the pants is a separate piece of fabric that wraps to the front. So when you bend down or sit on a chair or picnic blanket the slit goes right to your ass. I wear leggings under mine.

Kathy Lévesque: Ils sont très confortables et parfait pour se que j'avais prévu en faire. Par contre, je préfère prévenir sur cet aspect : si vous êtes couché sur un côté de votre corps et que vous levez une jambe pour un exercice par exemple et bien la jambe se retrouvera complètement nue et ça peut facilement aller jusqu'à monter le sous-vêtements. Donc dépendamment de l'usage vous pouvez avoir un inconvénients avec le style du pantalon.

MLR: I read through several of the reviews before ordering these pants. I really do like them! I ordered specifically from the sizing chart, being the low end of needing a large. They are a bit big and wish I would have ordered the medium since they are a material that easily stretches. I will probably rework the elastic in the waist and replace it with wider elastic or maybe a draw string. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the wash & wear capabilities... these are line dry only. I would have liked to have been able to toss them in the dryer.

KirkKirk: So as every other review said, the sides are open. I've walked around, gone up and down stairs, swept my garage, (got caught on a kitchen cabinet knob) and the open sides aren't an issue. Even if they get to be, it's a simple fix to sew them in place. I also saw a review that said they run small, but I didn't have that issue, they fit me like most other XL pants. That being said, I do agree that they can look pretty unflattering, but I personally am not wearing baggy harem pants to look cute.
Now on a real note, these pants are... dangerous. They're stupidly soft and comfortable and I'm going to wear them 90% of my life.

NYC Mom: Cute, but definitely cheaply made. I returned these because the material along the waist was completely crooked, making the pants lopsided if I wore the waistband level across my waist (if I hike up one side high on my waist, the pants fall nicely, but who wants that?). Hopefully that was just a defective pair, but clearly someone wasn't paying attention when they made them! Also, the wide waistband is great, but the 1 inch piece of elastic inside is kind of laughable. Couldn't they spring for a wider bit of elastic?! Just cheap! It's really too bad because I love the fabric and the drapey, flowy style of these pants. For the price, I think they could put a bit more effort into quality and these would be amazing.
