Amazon Customer: Loved how compatible they were with the factory amplified Sony system in a 2014 Ford F-150 Lariat! A must, for this price you can’t beat using these over the factory replacements. Polk have always been power efficient and provide great crisp sound quality. Plus they are marine grade, which is perfect for the Fords that are notorious for water intrusion in the doors. Prevent premature failure with installing these. You can also cut out the harness on the factory speaker clip and solder it onto the new speaker, it’s super easy and only takes an additional two minutes for installation.

Rick: Had to modify the speakers in order to fit properly on Harley lids.. if you’re handy these are great speakers for the money.. they sound pretty good..they are being powered by sound stream with sound digital evo 800 watt amp along with 4 ds18 6.5 speakers modified with skar tweeters.. yes im pushing 6 speakers and they sound good and loud..
Sorry but I don’t have $6000 for Rockford Fosgate system setup….
Money well spent!!!

SmilehimselfSmilehimself: I haven’t plugged them in yet, but I don’t foresee any problem. I have had many speakers from the speaker range and they have all been solid. So the product is fine I’m sure, but the shipping leaves a little bit to be desired. As you can see in the picture, they came without any additional packaging and you can readily see what it is. Any porch thieves would see it from a distance and quickly swoop up. Not my first time receiving something from Amazon and it wasn’t properly packaged. They probably won’t approve my review, so you guys won’t see this. People always protect themselves, no matter what.

Z•M: Great speakers to replace original speakers that failed. Waterproof and good sound. For 2010 Mazda 3, you’ll have to cut the basket, once it is done, they just fit like OEM.

J. Young: I bought my F150 used and it came with the "premium" audio option. My last 2 Ford vehicles had the Mach system and my Yukon XL has the Bose system in it. Certainly neither the Mach or Bose is the be all-end all of car audio but they are respectable setups for just listening to music at a reasonable volume.

I decided on the DB speakers because a friend of mine who is into car audio and always has a great sounding setup.

Install was easy. I popped the speaker cover panels off the truck with a screw driver, used a 7/32 socket to remove the 4 screws holding the old speaker in place, and disconnected the old speaker's wiring harness. Note: You'll need to buy the harnesses for the speakers if you don't want to cut wires, etc. This would make install very quick (probably less than 30 min for all 4 speakers).

I ended up cutting the wiring harness plug off and crimped normal speaker terminals on the end of the factory wires. Note that if you decide to do this you need to cut as close to the factory plug as possible because there isn't much slack. Also, the positive terminal will be white with a colored line and the negative will be a solid color with a colored line....
