Paul Lagattuta: I don't dislike anything about the product. The fragrance is great, the mustache wax goes a long way, you only need a little. The conditioner is superb. I'm totally pleased with the product. No complaints and it's a good price for the quality.

Charles: My husband has a nice full beard and was using Cremo. But Cremo became hard to find, so he gave this a try. He will not go back to Cremo. This product works amazing his beard is soft and doesn't tangle as easy. Definitely worth the money!

Superwav: Polished Gentleman is my favorite brand of shampoo and conditioner, so I thought I'd shelve my current routine and try their after-shower products. Unfortunately, I don't feel they are as good as what I regularly use.

The beard oil does a great job and has a very handy pump dispenser. The only thing I don't like is that it seems to be thicker than some of the same-quality brands.

The balm is more of a wax than a smooth balm. It's so stiff that I had to use the back of my thumb nail to scrape some out, similar to cold butter. It melts at about the same rate, too. Being thicker means it has pretty decent hold, but it also pulls hair if I try to brush again later in the day, like a wax does.
I like the scent of the shampoo/conditioner, but I found it overwhelming in the beard balm. My wife and I agree that it smelled like petroleum.

AnonymousB: Compared to other beard products this one really does soften my beard. Wish it had a better scent, maybe sandalwood or something. Agree with some other reviews about the bottle/packaging for the beard oil, seemed to be leaking before I unwrapped the plastic off it, luckily not traveling anytime soon so not big deal but will probably put in other bottle. Will purchase again.

ben paddock: If I could give this a million stars I would. Hands down the best beard product I have ever used. Cleans, softens, and grows your beard and facial hair. What more could you ask for. Mild scent that doesnt leave you gasping for air. The oil and wax/balm lasts all day leaving your beard silky and shiny all day long. This kit is a must have for anyone with facial hair.
