Tammy Schinhofen: I haven’t been able to use this yet, but it is well made and sturdy. Hoping it will work better than anything else I’ve used and doesn’t appear that bristles will be left behind.

Donald Norman: I've been grilling for 40 years and have never found the perfect grill brush. Cleaning the grates is messy. The POLIGO 18" Grill Cleaner Brush is unique with it's coiled wire in that without bristles it does not flick grease any where, so I don't have to change my clothes just to clean the grill. I do think that if the coils went two directions it would do a better job getting the edges of the grates. I'd also like to see the flat scraper with a hook so I could flip the grate without using my fingers.

RKS: I have purchased two of these. The first one was purchased a couple years ago after I noticed my old grill brush, which had straight brush wires, was shedding wires which ended up on the grill surface and, potentially, in the food. This brush has continuous wire spirals that don't shed wire when used to clean the grill. I replaced my first one with an identical one when I noticed the some of the wire spirals had worn through. I did not notice any shedding, but i figured it was time to replace it. The first one lasted a long time so I went with this model again.

John: Design wise, this is what we've all been looking for! It works better than all of the traditional designs for grill brushes. If it survives my cleaning processes, I will give it five stars in every category. I'm sure it will end up caked in grease like any other grill brush, however, I expect heat cleaning to work a little better on this design.

NCBirdman: The straight wire brushes over time will rust and the bristles start breaking off and end up on the grill and could potentially end up on your meal. This wound wire stainless concept seems like a good upgrade, but it also seems harder to use and doesn't seem to clean as well as the wire brushes. Only time will tell if it holds up any longer than a wire brush we might just need to replace our wire brush more often for the best clean and ease of use.
