Police Body Camera for Law Enforcement with 2" LCD Display

Jvak4: The Good
Buttons function well / casing is hard and protects well / great audio/video, even at 720p / Operationally pretty smooth (functions rapidly deploy, software adjusts decently, buttons do as built) / GREAT BATTERY LIFE / records both front/back cameras if you use the external small lens (recommended).

The Bad
Uses USB B?!?!?! / Clunky menu (typical w/ so many features on small frame) / Cannot access passcode to sync w/ PC while unit is in cradle / Clips could be beefier / No anti vibration/shake makes for super choppy dashcam video / could be better w/ low light conditions.

OVERALL - A great camera/gear for $150. I use it for numerous things since it has motion detection and such. Honestly a much better alternative to GoPro if you don't need underwater video. Its MUCH more versatile and useful. Why the idiots in goverment spend $1500+ for each of those Axxiom pieces of crap for LEO's is a classic example of lazy people not doing their homework to get the best value for taxpayer money.... THIS IS A GREAT CAMERA SETUP FOR THE MONEY.

Cons- 1# I run the camera on the highest setting possible. Battery life is around 8 to 10 hours. Sometimes have to turn off the camera when I'm eatting lunch or at the office to save battery, or recharge while I eat.
#2 while driving the camera audio is horrible, the microphone picks up the wind noise even with the windows rolled up at high speeds 70mph plus.
#3 There is no indicator to remind you it's still on so you record more than you plan to.
#4 mounting system could use some work. But see pros.
Pros #1 video and audio is amazing at highest quality.
#2 The camera is very easy to use. Simple one tap to start recording and even records with audio roughly 26 seconds prior to hitting record even has a option to post record. Has options to let you know verbally and physically with a vibration to let you know you started recording
#3 night vision is amazing at close distances
#4 it has so many features and is user friendly.
#5 mounting- its comes with one 360 clip and one shoulder clip for the lapels. They are pretty durable but if you have it on a loose shirt it will shake.

Gilbert Valnonnia: Note: I have had this camera only 1 week. I will update this review in 4 to 6 months with notes on longer-term durability.

Summary: 4 out of 5 stars for good design, manufacturing quality, very good video quality, and long battery life.
This bodycam feels solidly-constructed. The case is tight-fitting, there are no rattles or hollow sounds from inside the unit when shaken.

Pros:
- Very good picture quality and frame rate. Even at the 720P / 30FPS setting this camera produces nice quality footage. The microphone is not excellent but it is very adequate.
- Good battery life. I get real-world record times of 12.1 hours at 1280x720p / 30FPS frame rate using the HEVC.265 codec. This is in continuous record mode, no motion detection or IR / flashlight illumination.
- Very good clip bracket and clips: the included clip options are commercial-grade, with a metal leaf spring which locks the removable clip on to the camera body's clip slot.
