I have two of these rods and they are perfect to keep in your car to make a few casts or the ol' bug out bag. I have caught, 3-4 lb bass, Papio in Hawaii, and Calico Bass in Southern California, Northern Pike and Bluegill. I did have one break after about a week and they replaced it no issue. The other ones have lasted over a year. It's a good deal for a what you pay and they are sensitive enough. I have throw 1-2 oz lures even. No rod last forever but few you can sneak in your golf bag and make a few casts in the water hazard.

Jeff Sager: I have not fished with this yet - I will try to update after I do so - this is just my initial experience.

I ordered the 2.1M - 6.89ft PLUSINNO Telescopic Fishing Rod for use in FRESH water fishing. Based on the other reviews I expected the action to be on the lighter side so I also ordered a lighter weight reel to go with it (one that I currently own and like). Goswot Left/right Interchangeable 12BB Ball Bearing Saltwater/ Freshwater Fishing Spinning Reel (EF500)

Overall, the quality looks and feels sound. I did have an initial concern when I attempted to mount the reel on the rod cause the screw rings would not back all the way down to give me room to mount the seat. Someone else had commented about this same issue. After looking more closely, there are two rings that you can back down separately resolving my issue. They were slightly stuck together so I thought it was one piece at first. But it is two and easily screwed down the shaft. The reel I had mounted fine and was tight and secure - I have no concerns there.

When the rod is compacted, the balance with my reel of choice was great. However, once I extended the rod, it was very front heavy making me...

KEN: 昔のコンパクトロッドってすぐにポキっと折れました。
今のは炭素繊維でできていて、相当力をかけても全然折れません。
それがこの値段なら、凄いとしかいいようがありません。
縮めればリュックにも入るのに丈夫なのは、良いと思います。

I got this for my cousin as he likes to go lake fishing from time to time and was looking for something nice and compact and is very happy with the reel he has so he only wanted a rod. Keep in mind this product is rod only and does not include the reel so this is perfect for people who have poles that have broken and already have their own reel or for people that want to choose their own reel. The rod itself is perfectly compact and easy to store or even keep in the trunk of your car in the included small carrying bag. The rod is telescoping and has a nice lightweight design yet is ultra strong which is great when reeling in larger fish. It is made of non corrosive material which makes it great for both fresh and salt water fishing. The handle on the rod is perfect for smaller hands and is comfortable to hold, cast and reel in. They do recommend to use a bit of teflon tape on the threads so you get a good strong fit, my cousin had tried it both ways and honestly didn't have any trouble with it loosening up even when no adding the tape. It is made of graphite black construction the guide inserts are aluminum...

DeArmyDeArmy: First off I would like to say is that, the pole is made in China, The pole can catch some decent size bass as you can see. 2 1/2 and 2 pounds bass. Can is handle anything bigger NO. I had a 3 plus on the rod and was walking in the bass and the pole snapped. As far as being able to easily be stored away, it is awesome and extremely convenient. I was honestly not expecting much from this pole because of the price and was surprised on how long the pole did last but again it is Chinese made and is Cheap Chinese Quality. You get what you pay for this pole.

Update- Within the next day of this post I received an email from the company asking me if they could help in any way. I asked if the could exchange my pole and the tired to contact Amazon on my behalf and get another pole sent. Due to some difficulties on Amazon they could not exchange so they went ahead a refunded the purchase. I could not be happier with this company. Very understanding and excellent customer service. You really have nothing to lose with this company. Very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Even though it did work out for me they still helped out.
