Justin: I've had a 2.0L Platypus for years and I love it. No bad taste at all. No leaks and I'm very happy with it.

This1.0L has a different water line connector, and if you don't get the water hose lined up just right, it does tend to leak. I can pull it out and re-adjust it and that usually works, but there are times that I have to pull it out and re-adjust things again.

I decided to keep it due to the "Taste-Free" aspect, but I did knock a star off because of the leaking issues.

cb750: Works great on my woods/trail motorcycle. Fits perfectly in the Rock Bros supposedly "2 Liter" handlebar bag ASIN B08PJSYHD7. Now I don't have to carry my water on my back. It's not entirely "taste free" though. Expensive for what ot is, but it does exactly the job i needed it to do, so would buy again!

V Hawse: I purchased both a 1 liter and a 2 liter platypus hoser this spring and used both all summer.
Pros: good price, zero “plastic or nylon” taste, universal mouth size compatible with other platypus bottles, simple and easy to use
Cons: you have to really crank hard on the cap/lid to prevent leaking, a larger mouth or bladder opening would be easier to clean, and dry to bladder, would like a larger “handle” surface for handling and hanging the bladder to dry when not in use and for a less slippery feel when handling th bladder when in use.
Overall a great bladder, but with room for improvement

Amazon Customer: I don't know why it is so hard to find a 1 litre bladder, when some of the running vests out there cannot take anything bigger. Doesn't leak, no plastic taste, no hassle simple mouth piece (so no need to struggle with drinking while running).

kathleen: I used this system to create a gravity fed water filter system and it works great! I used a sawyer squeeze as my filter and it fits perfect I can use it as a gravity feed or strap it to the deck of my kayak and use the mouth piece while I’m paddling. I don’t care for the cleaning of it though I feel like it never gets completely dry inside. All in all though works great.

shani: bought this for someone with poor mobility who is sometime bed bound and has trouble opening caps and lids. Its handy to bite open the valve. Sometimes he lays on the bag and the tube hangs over the bed and it drains on the ground.. it's not a deal breaker because that's just the nature of leaning on the valve. I'm happy it exists.

I would warn that it seems to get murky or back flow if someone drinks from it after eating some food.. so you would want to keep an eye on the water in the bladder so that it's clean.
