Terrance Nyman: This is a larger tool box with (2) trays. Even with the trays there is still plenty of room below the trays. Holds all my loose tools and the trays help for organize the need right now tools. The unit is large and can hold many items, making it heavy. Yet there is a weight limit on the unit. Suggest checking on how much weight this can handle and compare how much you are going to place in the unit. Very handy tool box.

mattmatt: Bought this as a mountain bike tool box and carried roughly 45 lbs of crap in it at all times and in and out constantly. Carried weight well until the little plastic pieces that snap on to the pivot for the latch (I know, I'd be confused too. See pic) started going one at a time until it finally gave up the ghost and yard saled all my stuff.

This thing saw multiple park days, camping trips, me dragging it through the woods, sitting on it, sliding around in my truck etc. I'm actually a little sad it finally died. Enough so to write a review 3 years later. Probably won't get another, but may this review let it live on in memory.

Craig P. EvansCraig P. Evans: I researched the heck out of toolboxes around this price point. It was hard to find exactly what I was looking for, but I decided to try this one. I'm extremely happy that I did. I was concerned that the latches that secure it on the sides are not metal. It turns out to be a non-issue. These latches are very well made and secure the toolbox perfectly.

I love the two trays inside the unit. One is seated on top of the other. The bottom one is deeper allowing items like hammers and large, thick tape measures to stow away nicely. The top tray is shallower and I use it for things like a laser level, digital tape measure, precision screwdrivers, etc...

Beneath the trays is a deep storage compartment for storing larger tools. It can accommodate a large number of items, making this a great choice for a workman who needs all of the necessary tools for a particular job in one place, or for a homeowner who simply needs a good collection spot for the typical items that are frequently used in regular maintenance, like hammers, pliers, wrenches, screws, nails, and the like.

OJ: Just got it so haven't given it the job site durability test yet but upon first examination and putting tools in, I am thoroughly impressed. This box has an excellent design. As a construction/industrial/residential electrician, I use a large variety of tools and materials, and efficient job production requires good organization of these tools and materials. The size, double trays, removable organizing containers are nothing short of perfect for any tradesman's needs. I store machine screws, tech screws, ground tails, etc in the removable containers and can take them with me if that's all I need, small most used tools in top tray, next tray for a bit larger less used, the bottom for larger bulkier items. one of the biggest issues with finding tool boxes for my profession is finding one that combines sufficient capacity, with the ability to seperate and organize tools and material efficiently, instead of having to through most of them at the bottom. 2 trays+stow away organizers????? BRAVO! I could go on forever. So far, as far as design is concerned, this is the best 22" tool box I've seen or owned , and I've been thru a few and still own a few others. Seems real durable but only...
