For some odd reason, I couldn't locate C batteries at my local chain grocery store. Bought these thru Amazon Prime for the quick delivery free shipping option.
For yet another odd reason, my Sangean HDR-16 radio takes only C batteries. Why?!? No idea why the engineers at Sangean could not have designed the form factor to accept AAs. Both are 1.5 volts, by the way.
The batteries look sturdy and *appear* leak proof. Remember always to remove batteries if you aren't using the intended product for too long. That's the general rule, anyway.

Good price when you dont use them often, only time to time, so you dont need to invest a lot of money. But dont last as long as Duracell or Energizer, so if you need it often I consider buying long lasting batteries.
