Lumpy: These are about half the price of a lot of other pellets. In the few bags of various brands I've tried, I cannot tell a quality difference in any pellet, any brand.

These pellets are blended so you don't get blasted with pure hickory smoke. I get a little overwhelmed by straight hickory in a smoker. The pecan et al wood(s) in this mix reduce that overwhelm effect very nicely.

Nice strong plastic bag, 40 lbs for the price of other brand's 20 lb bag, good wood blend(s). This seems like a pretty darn good bag-o-pellets.

Rach: Worth it! Much better than Traeger. I used Bear Mountain previously and I can't really tell the difference in terms of quality. Great value, great flavor, works well in the hopper, not a lot of dust. I like the blends a bit better than the straight flavor pellets for most things, so the big bag is perfect.
