Greg Wehr: So convenient to have fresh baked biscuits in a batch of any size as needed, and surprisingly good, once I realized they were not already fully cooked and microwave reheatable (to clarify, they are not; you have to bake them.) Excellent the first day, especially hot out of the oven with butter and honey or jam,. Or with sausage and country gravy! My word! Any leftovers need to be reheated the next day though to rejuvenate them otherwise they turn into hockey pucks. A freezer staple for their convenience and the joy they deliver.

Sarah: These taste homemade and are so simple. Pro tip: put a slice of bacon under the biscuits in the pan before baking them. The bottom of the biscuits will be the crispiest taste of gluttony you’ve ever had. I put a few on a cookie sheet alongside a few pieces of bacon - bake for 20 minutes and it’s a hands off southern breakfast! Super quick for school mornings.

B. Barcellos: Forget the canned stuff- those are absolutely disgusting. These are the ones you want if you are looking for the right texture and flavor in a classic biscuit. They are just layered enough, but not laminated. Tender, but not to the point of falling apart. Crispy on the outside but not crunchy or cracker like.
If you love fast food style breakfast sandwiches and want to make your own, this is basically the best and only option. These aren't as fully flavored as a home made biscuit for eating on their own, but they're perfect for anything else. They have a neutral flavor as they're made with neutral oil and no buttermilk, but they still taste good and are more suitable for my purposes than the more "flavorful" varieties.
I've been trying for months to perfect a southern buttermilk biscuit recipe using white lily flour and nothing i made competes with these frozen wonders for sandwiches (note: i could never make mine rise until I got rid of the buttermilk entirely and used milk instead. Weird, huh?). My home mades are actually too tender and too buttery for a good fast food sandwich, imo.
I'm going to keep buying these to complement home made biscuits. At twenty...
