SGeene: The overall quality of this seat barrier is excellent. The mesh is very sturdy. However, as another reviewer commented - the lower straps need to be longer. We are using the barrier in our Toyota CH-R (small coupe) and the lower strap will extend to the far side of the passenger seat on the bottom but will not reach to the far end of the driver's side. So, on that side the strap is connected next to the barrier (not ideal) and it still works, but the barrier on that side is not as tight as the other side. This leaves a small gap on one side, such that a small dog could squeeze through. We have large dogs so it works ok.

Wen: I bought this for my husband's truck after reviewing several other barrier nets. I chose this one for the large width and height as many more did not span as wide for his full size truck. Our growing Labrador puppy when briefly left in the truck jumps in the front seats barking at everyone that passes and leaving hair all over the seats along with his big nose prints on the windshield. I was excited when we received this product as it was very well made, easy to install, netting tight enough for nothing to get stuck in , heavy material and spanned nicely across the opening , perfect height to be left in full time and look like it was custom made for our truck. We were excited for our first adventure with this new product. As we left him to walk in the store excited that he was in for a Big surprise......It was US that was surprised as we watched him spring straight up and Over like a first place pole vaulter! I wanted to keep the net mounted in the truck figuring he would get tired of having to spring so high to get over however my Husband is not as patient as I am and removed it. I plan on installing it in my Mini Van replacing a nylon one that is only held in place by elastic...

Martha R. Fletcher: We have a medium size dog that loves to stand on the consol and look out of the front of the car. worse yet she LEANS really had on the driver's shoulder for stability. It had to stop. We found this net and it is very sturdy and well made. It's design and the length of the straps allow it to attach to most any seat configuration. We have a Chevy Colorado and had no problems finding points to attach the net to. NOTE: While it keeps our dog in the back while driving (YAY!) she CAN jump over it to sit in the front seat while we are gone but we do not consider it a problem as it keeps her back while the vehicle is moving and that was the first and main goal. I highly recommend this net.

RSS: I recently acquired a new vehicle. My dog (14# American Eskimo) loves going for rides, and she had gotten accustomed to putting her front feet (from the back seat) on the center console of my old car (she was 9 years old when we adopted her, and after a year of trying to break her of the habit, I caved…). However, the center console in the new car is not really conducive to her standing on it, so I searched for a product to help me keep her strictly in the back (typical hammock style covers do not deter her).
I was particularly interested in the Pikaon Barrier because of its size (seems to be larger than many other similar barriers), and the mesh-like material (see through and allows air flow). The product fits the space between the front seats very well, is easy to attach and adjust, and actually looks good in the vehicle (at first quick glance, you might think it came with vehicle). Importantly, the barrier did a better than expected job at keeping our dog in the back seat. She did try a few times to figure out how to get around or over it (mainly by standing on back legs with front paws on the back of the passenger seat), but we promptly corrected her, and she rather...

Anonymous JSAnonymous JS: This worked great to keep my 60 lb Spaniel from trying to get on the console between the front seats. The material is very sturdy. It was easy to adjust and connect the two upper straps to the headrest posts. Had to fish around at the bottom of the seats to attach the two bottom straps. I like this model because it is made of sturdy mesh material and is wider than the opening (so doggo can't try to sneak in the side) Also the mesh fabric can allow air conditioning to flow to the back seat and we can see what he is up to behind us. Took it on a two hour trip and worked great. (Purchased with own funds/not sponsored)
