tennistoni: I brought a repurposed unit on Amazon Day at half price. So far, I am quite happy with it and continually learning different ways to prepare food. I have used some of the accessories that came with it, but, as mentioned above, I am still in a learning mode. This is super easy to clean. It is a big unit and I recommend a sliding tray or mat to move it back and forth on the kitchen counter. One reason is for convenience and the other is for safety. The unit emits a lot of hot air and you do not want it to close to wooden cabinets or the wall while it cooks. For me, the sliding tray or a sliding mat nullified those problems. Even though this is a large unit, I find for certain things you have to cook in batches, such as vegetable, fries, and small pieces if you are cooking for a number of people. Other items can be done easily, such as a whole or cut up chicken, steak (for 2), things like that. So you need to time how you batch things and keep them warm until you are ready to serve them. You can put in a lot of frozen items and cook but I do not like processed food much and prefer to make my own things and cook them. Otherwise, if you like to toss in frozen...

Stella Ivanova: Love it! Love it! Love it! I would never bother to look for a different air fryer. I had the smaller one and upgraded to this one. It’s a game changer! Food is ready in no time and absolutely delicious! Perfect for families with kids, also for single people who can prepare dinner in minutes! Jam!

I owned an airfryer some years ago and it was great. If you are wondering how the food tastes, it depends. Vegetables and other things that don't have any natural fat will be dry, so just pass through oil or spray some oil on the food before cooking. Frozen french fries taste just about the same. Meat tastes great, because of the natural fat, you don't need to add oil to it. A downside is that the smells like the food you made (just as it happens when something is deep fried)
This one is very big, however, for a family of 4 (3 adults and 1 child) we usually need to use it for two times and the food gets cold. I am planning to buy a rack that allows you to put more food to cook in one time. If you are planning to buy one of those, it is worth the investment on accessories.

Steve Getz: I've only made onion rings and copycat Chick Fil-A nuggets so far. The onion rings were a dud, but no fault of the fryer - just a bad recipe (not sure Panko is a winner with air fryer food, but I'll try a few more times). The Chick Fil-A copycat nuggets were a home run, though. Dry, flour-based breading might be the ticket to great-tasting and healthy food. More to come...
