Deborah: I used this warming pad for my 2 outdoor cats all winter last year and they loved it, they will not use a cat house so I just put them in our patio chairs under shelter. I made another cover for it but it isn't necessary, it comes with one. I just purchased a second pad because my cat's got too big to share. It makes me feel better knowing they are warm!

H. L. OlsonH. L. Olson: An absolute hit with one my girl, Dash, in particular. I really like being able to control the amount of time it's on and the temperature; makes me feel much more secure. It really doesn't get that hot. As a human I wouldn't be very happy with the heat that it gives off but it seems to be just right for kitties.

NikBee: Actually got this for our 2 medium sized cats in the super hot summer weather. Of course it cooled down considerably as it arrived so hasn't been properly tested by pets.
Child did however immediately lie down on it & declared it to be 'amazing' and that it would be just right for her at night when the temperature rises next.
It does provide a cooled surface when you press down on it so in theory should work, at least it's easy to wipe down and seems durable. It is pretty heavy so I think will last a while and we're more prepared for next year!

HansleyHansley: Given summer is approaching, this is a practical one to have for either use for a Cat or Dog cooling mat. The mat itself is large as seen in the above image, foldable and good size which makes it easy to store. The material seems to be of good quality and does the job of cooling with gels inside. According to the package, it is pet friendly in case of any leak or damage, still the material seems strong enough to prevent it. Quick delivery as expected with Amazon which can into a box for next day delivery and quickly managed to put it into use as the next couple of days will be fairly warm. It can be used both inside and outside which make it very practical and additionally it is not that heavy nor too light hence easily portable. The design is fairly minimalist with an overall blue colour and logo at the bottom. Overall, it does the job as it is supposed to do and hopefully will keep pets cool during the warm period and stay for a long time. I can recommend the product accordingly and will certainly look into related ones from the company as well.

justsoyouknow: It’s ok but creases a lot. Border collie likes it but doesn’t like the creases. Kept her cool in summer but I’ve seen others that are thicker. She still uses it now the weather is cooler as more omfortable than the cold floor to park her fluffy butt on. Wipes clean. She said she would prefer a non camo design as she’s a lover not a fighter and sends a thank you woof. (She says do I get my belly rubbed for that good review?)

Kerrie: Sadly this is the second product I've tried where it's either not cool or doesn't stay cool for long enough, my dog also didn't like it, I had to force it to lay on it and at one point she got off and the matt was pretty warm to touch and she hadn't been laying on it for that long. I'm probably going to return the product and stick to damp towels.

The product looks ok, is pretty durable and tough, if your dog doesn't get as hot as mine this might be the perfect solution but if they are like mine and always panting no matter what the weather (no it's not an health problem she's been checked over by a vet, she's just a hot furry), I wouldn't recommend it.

Year old Poochon really struggles in the heat. This one feels much colder even when taking it out of the box. It is a good size not too huge but definitely not too small. Unusually the pattern is on both sides- a nice feature. It is a reasonably heavy mat, certainly not one that is going to get nudged around and moved by mistake. The material is a nice texture and wipes clean which is useful with mucky dogs!

My dogs love it, at times both of them choose to be on it in this hot weather. Would definitely buy again, it is fantastic for my dogs in the hot weather.

We keep one in the kitchen and one in the room where the dogs sleep, our poochon will choose to lie on it when she is hot and it has really helped her keep cool and comfortable. If your dog is struggling in the heat this is a fantastic purchase, no bits to freeze or wet, it simply keeps them cool when lying or sitting on it. I would not be without these mats now they are amazing. Buy one you won’t tegret it!
