Rosie Allen: The house is built of a sturdy plastic material, easy to assemble. The top part does not lock on to the bottom (that is the defect described in many reviews), but one can easy drill additional holes using existing holes (used for tying parts during shipping) as pilots; then, the top and bottom could be easily fastened with two or four zip ties. The room can accommodate two average size cats (in my case the two feral cats were walking together - siblings?) even with thermal insulation and electric heating pad.

gardenmaiden: Someone dumped a kitty off, and so he made himself at home. I bought him a house to kept warm and safe this winter along with a bowl for food, and water, etc. etc. He is worth every penny great mouser.

Michael Chambers: This dog house worked perfect for our 50lb dog. It is a little on the lighter side so will blow away if you are in a windy area. However, the shape allows the dog to be able to curl up perfectly for a good nights sleep.

Nan K: I did read the reviews. There is some rain/wind leakage around the back upper vents. I used clear Flex Seal on that area. The house is heavy and seems to be structurally sound, however the top doesn't quite fit as tight to the bottom half as i was hoping. But for the price, I would buy it again. I am using it to feed a couple of feral/stray cats and it does sit under a carport.
