Danie829: Really nice pet blanket. Took it to line the back when I picked up my rescue. It was a long ride and she had a couple of accidents. Nothing leaked through the blanket and it washed up nicely. It’s extremely heavy when wet so take care when washing. I took it to a commercial laundry because I wasn’t sure my washer could spin the weight. It’s nice quality, thick and absorbent. I will be picking up another for when this one needs cleaning.

Bklyn shopper: I purchased several pet blankets which were "waterproof" but after a time they are not longer functioning that way. I am hoping this product will live up to its claims. so far it appears to really be leak proof.
I will update in the future.

M. PhillipsM. Phillips: In April '23 we got a new 105" couch which is used daily by me, my wife, and our two 75lb dogs -- multiple times the humans will sit down on the couch; likewise throughout the day the dogs leap up, take a nap, and leap down.

From Day 1 (over three months now), we've covered the couch with two of these Large blankets that overlap each other in the center. These things have been fantastic and flawless! First, they are super soft. Second, so far they have proven to be durable....despite the nails of 75 lb dogs leaping up and down on them every day, we have not noticed any damage. They are indeed waterproof: before putting them on the couch the first time, we tested them in the garage and not a drop of water seeped through; and in three months of dogs licking their legs/paws on the couch during which the tops of the blankets have gotten quite wet no wetness or smell ever penetrated through to the couch.

There is only one downside to them, and that is the washing and drying. Although the blankets are quite light when they are dry, they really absorb the water in the washer. So, during the spin cycle our washer starts to get out of balance (you know, when it shakes...

Anonymous: These are our go to blanket for our pets and many other uses when we need to protect a surface from liquids or other messes. They are great for our dogs as a pad in their beds when they are sick, or have a uti and might have an accident (they also worked great when potty training as a bed that could be quickly cleaned due to an accident). They also make great blankets to cover car seats or furniture when you have wet, muddy, dirty, kids or pets that you don't want messing up your vehicle or other areas. We even use a larger version as a couch cover on the couch our dogs sit on constantly. Blanket gets dirty, some pet fur, or pet odors on it and it is easy to swap out to throw in the washing machine.

The ONLY con to these blankets, and it is unavoidable due to the type of blanket it is, is that the typically takes 2 or 3 trips through the spin cycle on the washer to extract enough water that you can't wring more out with your hands. Drying them then typically takes 2 cycles on low (per washing and drying instructions) to get them dry. Also, this only works if you wash and dry between 1 and 3 at a time depending on the size of you washer and dryer.

Overall, a must have...

Needa: Very comfy fluffy blanket that looks good around the home.

Very absorbent and must be dried after washing using a dryer (clothesline will take days). It wasn’t actually waterproof as I had thought so you can’t wipe up spills or pee. You must pick it up asap to avoid liquids going through.

But super warm as a crate cover or just to cover tiled surfaces when dog is in laundry/bathroom.

The fluffy side is easy for puppies to walk on. The smooth side was too slippery for a young puppy
