Stephen H. Tuck: I bought this to fix my mom’s Rearview-Mirror. Everything she tried didn’t hold very long. After reading through forums of similar issues, I was directed to try this epoxy. It tried to toughen the mirror tab and cleaned the surfaces with isopropanol. After I mixed the epoxy, I applied a consistent-layer on the surface and held the Mirror Tab in place for a few-seconds. It pushed-out around the edges which made a nice bead of epoxy that held the tab in-place. We have it a full 24-hrs to cure and it has been perfect ever-since. I strongly-recommend this as an alternative to other methods because it dries clear and forms a superior-bond.

.rjr.: I followed the directions which are very simple. Shake the tube for 2 minutes (the hardest part), overfill the hole, trowel it flat with the end of the tube and set it with a hairdryer, wait 24 hours and voila, turns to rubber that you can pick off. Mind you it sticks to the glaze in the porcelain tile but it doesn’t stick to the porcelain. And if the hole is too deep (?) then it doesn’t harden, ever. Not even 3 weeks later. Not sure if this is just for hairline cracks only but it’s not for “holes” or “serious dents” in porcelain tiles.

Eddie M: I used this epoxy to attach a "wedge" mount for a rear view mirror to my windscreen. I followed the instructions carefully, mixed the two components and left to dry for fivemnutes. On attaching the Wedge, I had to hold it in place for another five minutes to stop it sliding down the windscreen, but once this was done, it is rock solid.
I have now installed my mirror and it hasn't budged an inch. Top quality epoxy.

Andre: UPDATED: Dropped the rating to 1 star from 4 stars. After using it for a few applications, it's clear that this is a sub-par product in almost every regard.
Application itself: After using it a while, the curing time hasn't been that much a problem, but hasn't been helpful either. I would prefer something that takes a bit longer to settle, because by the time you mix the epoxy and have everything ready to go, there's only about 2 minutes to apply it before it starts hardening. And when it hardens I simply gets more viscous - it doesn't actually stick more to what you're trying to glue - it just gets viscous and sticks LESS to everything else while you're still trying to apply it. So that's disappointing.
Strength of the bond: It's a weak epoxy. I understand that some epoxies are more flexible, some are less, so I'm not comparing this to an industrial or automotive epoxy. I'm comparing it to the same type of household epoxies, like Gorilla Epoxy. Everything I've glued together with Gorilla epoxy has stayed glued, but this Permatex 84101 has been truly hit-n-miss. One example: I glued 8 magnets, all 6.3mm by 1.5mm in size, to a piece of white plastic - same white...

S. Sanchez: As two-part, fast-drying epoxy goes, this is pretty good. What I like most about it is definitely the dispenser - being able to squeeze out just a little bit, mix it up, apply it, and not have to throw away the rest of it away because of a poor container is a big plus.
Since purchasing this item I've used it on a few things:
1) A clothes rack (5/5 stars on the fix-it scale)
- The foot of the clothes rack had cracked. It is a smooth plastic component that had a clean break. I applied this epoxy to both sides and then taped it together while it dried/cured. It's solid as a rock now.
2) A camping grill (4/5 stars on the fix-it scale)
- The plastic piece that holds the legs on a small camping grill had cracked. It was a jagged rough crack, and it required quite a bit of epoxy to fill the gap, and even though this is 'fast drying', I still ended up having to clamp it to get it to hold together long enough to cure. End result was a nice fix, but if I had to hold it by hand while it was drying it wouldn't have worked.
3) A suitcase (1/5 stars on the fix-it scale)
- This is a hard-sided "'diamond pattern" polycarbonate (the ones that don't get...

NyiNya: I am more of a breaker than a fixer. However, I recently had to drive backwards (called "backing up" by the experts) for about 15 feet and was attacked by a traffic sign turned terrorist. It knocked off the driver's side rear view mirror...you know, the one that is outside the car, not the one you actually use up by the roof. It was still semi-attached by some kind of wire or something, but was hanging down and giving me a view only of my tire. Since I already know what a tire looks like, and do occasionally look when making a lane change to the left, I tried to duct tape the thing back on. Didn't work. The mirror still sagged and all I could see was the tire. The man who fixes my car when things hit it said it would cost me $150 to get it back to where I could see those pesky drivers who are always in the lane you need to be in (since I couldn't see them, I just honked and waved my hand out the window a lot when I moved toward the left and you know what, it works.)
$150 sounded like a lot, so I decided to postpone the repair, figuring 3 rights make a left anyway, and I'm never in that big a hurry. However, the intervention of a nice policeman convinced me otherwise. I had...

Carrera driver: I used it to attach a stainless steel toilet paper holder to a glass shower partition, no easy feat. It worked very well.
