Chantrelle B: It warped after use. Many other reviewers have said the same thing. Maybe my iron was too hot but any lower and it wasn't fusing the beads together. It still works but it now has a slight bow to it. Disappointed.

LithLith: I like having the extra shapes because the layout of the beads are slightly different depending on the shapes ie. The square and heart are mainly a regular layout, where the star and hexagon are offset slightly.

With these shapes you can just go wild with colours to fill the shapes and make them as is, or we have used them with the free downloadable templates from the Perler.com website and created those pictured. Tree uses a circle, world with the heart, and the recycling sign uses the star pegboard.

Having clear pegboards means that you can lay them directly over the templates to make following the pattern a little easier, although it is still a little tricky to see the variation between similar colours, for example the three shades of green in the tree.

Overall I am pretty happy with them, they are fairly inexpensive but allow for additional use out of the beads, and seem sturdy.

Venny: El único detalle con esta compra fue que los tableros cuadrados son de tamaño más grandes, las demás formas (círculo, hexágono, corazón y estrella) son considerablemente más pequeños, teniendo en cuenta que en la imagen del prodcuto se ven todas del mismo tamaño. Aún así, el material es resistente y viene con hojitas para planchado.

Roger Sands: I have bought the colored shaped pegboards (another review), not what I would recommend... these I would recommend all day long...

1) If your child is artistic, a blank slate is better than making them stick to a pattern

2) If you child is not artistic, a blank slate with a pattern underneath is better than a shaped slate the must eye-ball a picture to complete (you will end up finishing the project)

3) If you get sucked into the shapes, you will be buy and endless number of them as you will need every shape on earth. These same shapes, with the well done colors and placement of eyes and mouth were done by ARTISTS that work for the companies that sell the patterns, not buy a 5 or 7 year old.

4) If you purchase clear ones you can also purchase patterns that you can lay under the pegboard and now the children can do the work.

5) You can also purchase just the square one that is expandable to accommodate various sizes of projects, one could quite possible create a wall sized picture and best of all, you will end up with far less pegboards and the patterns take up no space at all..

Great product, would like to just see the clear, expandable...
