moxie: Have you ever purchased a clock and you have to pull out the directions and your glasses to figure out how to use it? Heaven forbade the time changes. Not this little guy. Numbers are big, the buttons are simple, simple to set time and alarm and the thing I like best, is it doesn't glow, and it doesn't beep. When you hit the button for back light it is suttle, not wake you up bright light in your face. Once again no beep. It's battery operated. No cord and no fear if the power goes out. If your a light sleeper I highly recommend and the price is so good get two. I have had one for years and just bought two more.

21st Century Librarian: I like this clock so much that I have ordered several for different rooms. It is small and does not take up much room, so it is easy to find a spot to place it on. The display, however is large and bright and easy to read from across the room. I mainly purchase it for the large display and am pleased with my choice. I really appreciate how the lighting is adjustable. You can turn off the backlight or use one of two light settings, a dim night light or a brighter light.
I also like that the base is very stable where it is not easily knocked over. The controls are very easy to figure out. I did not need to refer to the manual, because the controls were very thoughtfully designed and intuitive. I like that it has the option for the 12 hour or 24 hour clock, as I prefer the 24 hour clock.
The price was very reasonable, so this was a good purchase for me.

Pete: This unit was much larger than anticipated. The front is 5 1/2 " by 3 ". The numbers on the display are 1 1/2" tall. The night light allows one to read the display all night long.

Mama Bee: The clock has several appealing features - it works well, has a useful alarm function, a convenient night light button, and the temperature reading is accurate. The fact that it's battery-operated and doesn't need to be plugged in is a definite plus.

However, it's important to note that we've purchased several of these clocks, and they typically last only a year or two before experiencing issues like incorrect timekeeping or completely stopping. While we like this clock enough to have bought more, it's crucial to keep in mind that it may start breaking down over time.
