Aastha Wal: One of the music pad was not working, also didn’t like the speaker quality. If those would have been good, I would consider this as a good item for kids.

TimN: Excellent starter kit for a small child. Easy to set up and change kit sounds and volumes. Not much control over clicker tempo. Battery lasts well. Unfortunately after about 3 months ours has developed an annoying buzzing sound at the end of each beat with both the sticks and pedals.

The OP: 2 of my boys prior to lockdown were taking drum lessons and really getting on with it, however, since then they haven't been able to sit down and do one on one, nor do we have room for a full drum kit, these smaller electronic kits seem to do the trick though
Their teacher has released YouTube videos showing how to practice and they can repeat this one the electronic drum kit, they even have the pedals and are able to plug into a headset to keep it quieter and not disturb the neighbours.
You can hear the beating onto the table underneath as they are reasonably thin, but this doesn't damage the table and is a lot lower noise levels than would be from a normal drum kit.
Background beats and effects are also available, however as my boys are learning they don't really need that at the moment, but possibly...with time.

Patrick Campbell: I purchased this product for my nephew and he never puts it down. It's perfect for introducing him to music, without paying a fortune for instruments. You just have to connect it by USB to a computer, for example and everything works perfectly or you charge the internal battery. There is a built-in speaker so the product can be used without an amplifier. Even for adults the drums are great for relaxing or even venting some anger. On the other hand if you are in an small room, please do not turn the sound to full blast as it can get quite loud. The headphones port is a blessing and works well. Good value.

AmazonoholicAmazonoholic: The media could not be loaded. Absolutely brilliant electric drum. It’s foldable so doesn’t take much space and it’s has internal batteries. Which makes it extremely portable. No need to be plugged in all the time TK be able to play. Can be moved around and play where ever suits me.
Drum very responsive and volume output can be amended depending from needs. Other best part it can be plugged head sets and listen without disturbing others around.
It has preset music melodies which helps and motivates to play .
Overall absolutely brilliant drum to have a fun. Have a look to my pictures to see real size hope this will be helpful to decide if it’s suitable for personal needs.
