Peter C: You owe it to yourself to read this book so that you are no longer misled by main-stream media scaremongering and promotion of completely unjustified bogus stories/storylines on a whole range of Green lobbyist ideology-driven propaganda. On this score the book is a great service from Patrick Moore to rational thought and considered judgement.
Would very much recommend: It is an eye opening, though easy to read, trip into the lies and manipulation of the public from Green ideology, its lobbyists and campaign groups, and all that flows from that. By the time you have finished reading it you will just shake your head at the misguided delusional antics of Extinction Rebellion.

Stephen N.: Great book with mostly facts. Gives a stark look at how the US, in particular, is either ignorant, stupid or accomplishing an agenda separate from the good of the country.

Marko: Raises my conscious appreciation on climate issues and my eagerness to learn more. Patrick should start his own TV program and/or post on Tic Tok to reach a broader audience. I look forward to this. Dr. Mark Stearns- Cell Biologist

William: First let me make one thing clear: I have spent a lifetime in Research and Development starting in graduate school at UC Berkeley. I have an advanced degree (obviously from UCB). I have always been skeptical about the hysterical claims made by the so called 'climate scientists'. What always irked me was the lack of scientific method. Rather than challenge their hypothesis they set out to prove it, which is the opposite of what one should do. Using the same approach as climate 'scientists' I can prove conclusively that the earth is flat. How? Using the past 150 years of CO2 and temperature data to 'prove' a relationship, let alone a causal one, is the same as laying a 12" ruler on the ground and saying it is flat so we can extrapolate to the entire planet being flat. A good scientist tries to DISPROVE their hypothesis, not prove it. If you can not disprove it then it has a higher likelihood of being accurate. Unfortunately for the climatologists it is astoundingly easy to disprove their hypothesis simply by looking over a longer time period - i.e. millions of years not hundreds.
This is what Dr. Moore does for the layman, he bring forth real data, not fabricated emotional...

Broc: I'm retired from civil engineering, and am a Sierra Club member, and and AMA Life member (American Motorcyclist Association), so I like nature and I'm a bit of a gear head. I try to keep an open mind on most issues. But having had to work through complex permitting processes for jobs I designed has lead me to become skeptical of the regulatory systems. Often they are more process oriented than actual outcome oriented ...
And I have been looking at climate change from different angles for quite a while (more than two decades). I have been looking at various data sets, but was lacking a coherent framework to work within. I was vaguely aware that the planet experiences orbital changes and that the suns output is cyclical. Both of which have a major influence on climatic conditions. But I could not see an obvious linkage. Dr Moore set me straight on these points.
And I was acutely aware of fossil fuels, supply, and untapped reserves (studied geology before moving to engineering). As far back as the 1970s I knew we had enough shale oil underground to power this country for at least another century, but we lacked the technology to get it out. That issue has largely been solved,...
