Work well but thought they would be more angled down. Very bright, scatter light up towards eyes too. Had to put a piece of electrical tape over the top half

I recently installed these on our sailboat to replace old floor night light. Thes lights are easy to install and give off a rather bright light which may affect one's ability to see at night. This notwithstanding, they are nice and add look to the boat which compliments both the woodwork and the upholstery. I purchased five of these in total, one had a short which I may be able to repair.
