Lesley: I absolutely love these pens, and I have multiple, and it is the only pen I use. I would normally give it a 6/5 rating I LOVE it that much.
The problem is that I did not receive a new pen I received a used pen. There was an empty cartridge in the barrel, and I had to run it through hot water to get the ink to flow, as it had obviously been sitting for some while. So truly, my complaint is not with the pen but with the crappy service from Amazon (not a seller, this was Amazon) and that they sent a used pen.

Judy the nurse: I love my Parker pens! I value sending and receiving handwritten cards and letters and I use my Parker pen for them. I lost mine in a recent move and came back to buy another one--I won't ever be without them.

Jacqui: This is a follow up review. My original i rated as1 star because I ordered a Medium point and received a Fine. The seller responded to me immediately, issuing me a refund and an apology - trying to investigate why I was sent the wrong one. Therefore this review is for the performance of the Fine Point.
A light scratchy feel- not terrible. Writes fluidly immediately upon touching the paper. No skips. If you prefer a Fine point I would recommend for the price. I personally prefer if the pen had a little more weight. It’s overall light but that’s probably because the body is part plastic, the cap is not. I have a similar version in an all metal body and it’s just right in heaviness. But overall this is a good little pen. And with respect to the error in sending me the wrong point size, at least the seller is Very responsive- I appreciated that!

PoeReviewGuy: This pen isn’t exactly eye-catching, and no one would really know it’s a fountain pen until you start writing with it. However, it has quickly become one of my most trusted and beloved fountain pens. One of its qualities is that it’s not huge like a “typical” fountain pen can be. It’s sleek, stylish, and well made.

I own several fountain pens - half of them are the cheaper Chinese pens. This Parker is much more reliable though. I never use the ink cartridges when I get a new pen, but my converter hadn’t come yet, so I tried this one out. It comes with blue ink (I hate blue ink!), but I absolutely fell in love with the color of the ink! It’s the only blue ink about which I’ve ever said - “Wow! ! I like that color!” It has a lot of purple in it, so this has become my card-writing pen because of the reliability and nice ink color. I’ll continue to use their ink unless I find another similar color (I usually use Noodler’s inks due to their bulletproof qualities). The blue ink cartridge is the only blue I’ve ever looked forward to writing with. In fact, out of probably 50 gel and fountain pens I own, this is the only blue ink I use in any of...
