Mary.B: Apparently these are not genuine Parkers and this is why they are so cheap. they do their job and you don't care if you lose them. You will order another one. What matters is that they look nice and they do the job.

AnnieO: They looked much better in the pictures. The coloured part is cheap plastic and certainly didn’t look like the Parker pens I remembered. But for the price they were okay as the pens write nicely and Parker refills are available on Amazon- and I do love ball point pens. Next year I’ll pay more for a nice metal one to give to my sons. (they’re in their 50’s but still my boys and they still get stockings ) I did tuck one of these in this year but had to apologize for them looking so cheap. I ordered as an afterthought and it was too late to order nicer ones. If you just want a nice writing good pen but don’t care to pay a fortune you may like them though. By the way, all 3 are blue ink which is a plus for me!!!

Roland: I have ordered "Parker "pens from Amazon before and the action was stiff Pen wouldn't retract without pushing the tip. But the first one of these three I tried was perfect. Hoping the other will be just as good. I buy multiples because I keep losing them.

BAW5E: Love the size, portability and simplicity of the jotter series. My only criticism is the bottom half of the pen is made of plastic as opposed to metallic but still a great daily pen.

A. LeeA. Lee: They have the look and feel of a Parker Jotter. It has the exact tapered shape of a Jotter. They perform and write as you would expect a Parker Jotter pen. There are with a few subtle notable quality differences that lovers of pen should be aware. I purchased an engraved all-stainless-steel Parker Jotter pen, which I will be using as a comparison to differentiate the quality.

First, the "stainless steel" applies only to the obviously stainless steel top half of the pen and the tip, (see pic 1, top from bottom slightly separated). The bottom half of the pen (or the colored portion, if you will) is plastic. When screwing the two halves together (i.e. after replacing the ink refill), DO NOT use too much force. The plastic portion will obviously break if you use too much force. A finer note on the stainless steel tip is that if you drop this pen on its tip, it is less likely to crack.

Second, the engineering between the all-stainless-steel jotter and this Jotter are not the same (see pic 2, two pends with their tops off). You will notice that the portion to screw the two halves together is shorter than that in the all-stainless-steel Jotter. The...
