Frankie Ferrante: The product is fantastic. I had issues with a very late delivery but worth the waiting time..Absolutely perfect

Shiza: It’s a lightweight wax warmer that does the job it’s made to do pretty well. Easy to turn off and on. Heads up - you should keep baby oil on standby as this wax warmer is kind of hard to clean without it if you spill wax on it. It won’t stop your wax from warming in its container, but it’ll get a bit messy, so beware.

Prabhakar: It works what it is intended for.

christine: I have not used it yet but did plug it in to see if it works. Heats up quite quickly.

PickleRick: It's very light, not steady, short cord, very slow to heat, had trouble heating so my first time after an hour or I microwaved in 20 second intervals until soft (but not completely melted). That or like other reviews said, it takes 2hr to come to temp. Trouble is once to temp, it gets too hot so you have to remove the wax to a heat resistant non slip pad then put it back for a min, and alternate this. Tried different kinds / containers and even varying amounts of loose wax beads in various (clean) metal or glass containers thinking there must be a way it would work without removing and putting them back on the element to avoid wax getting too hot. Because I can't twirl a freaking stick for 10min and I don't like the idea of wax going back into the pot even if it only touched the applicator (btw I went with sterile, individually wrapped tongue depressors instead of overpriced ones for waxing that were not sterile or individually wrapped)

This thing gets unsafely hot. Like you can't run it without a heat safe layer underneath or it damages your table. Not that pets or kids should be around wax, but keep in mind it burns like heck if your skin makes contact with it while...

Amazon Customer: Takes Waaay too long to heat up. I end up heating wax on my gas stove and just use this to keep it warm.

JessJess: This warmer works well and doesn't get too hot. Keep an eye on it. The Parissa cold wax will take about 30 minutes to heat up. Check it regularly and give it a stir. When ready, remove it from the warmer and start waxing. Replace it on the warmer (leave it turned on) when the wax starts getting less-than-honey consistency. Obviously, do NOT leave the plastic jar on the warmer the whole time. Great little product!

Tina: It works. I was surprised because I expected it to take ages to melt down the wax but it works! And then it keeps working. The wax is really hot. I have to take it off the warmer and let it sit ten seconds then use it and then put it back not the burner because it immediately starts to harden again. It's a little frustrating but it's a lot better than sitting in front of my stove trying to get it to warm but not burn. It definitely won't burn the way the stove does, I'll say that. But it IS pretty hot. I don't recommend it for people with sensitive skin. Mine is pretty durable and I just sort of grit my teeth and it turns out fine.

Clara: I loved finding a hair removal wax warmer that was just a base and not a whole tub for the wax beads sinse I usually order tubs of predone wax. It ia very light weight and small enough that it is very easy to store anywhere. The light works great to let you know when it is on. Ive used it probably six times now and havent had a proble. My only complaint is that I wish it was temperature controlled. After a while it will make the wax quite hot but I'll just take the tub off and set it on the counter and continue to use it until it starts to cool again and then id put it back on the warmer for a while. Doing that isn't so bad ita definitely better than having to keep running to the microwave!

Renee: I've been doing my own bikini/brazilian waxes at home for over a decade. In our current house, I've been keeping a busted up old microwave *just* for heating up wax. Heating wax has always been cumbersome, so I always wind up going between waxes far longer than I want to. When I use a microwave, the wax always comes out too hot, so I have to wait for it to cool and then I rush to finish before it gets TOO cool.

I've been looking at reviews for warmers for a year. Ultimately, I chose this one because of the price (some others were close to $100) and because I've used (and still use) both Moom and Parissa wax for years. I was hesitant to buy this one because of the negative reviews, but I figured for $15, it wouldn't be a huge loss if I don't like it that much.

Now that I have it and have used it, I'm really surprised at the negative reviews! I LOVE this thing and I'm kicking myself for not getting it sooner! Yes, it takes awhile to warm up. I was prepared to give it time, having read the reviews. So I just planned ahead and set it up about 45 minutes before I wanted to start. Around the 35 minute mark, I probably could have used it, but I have it the extra 10 minutes....
