Hevensmutantchld: I got this approx 2 years ago and it’s worked fine until recently. 4 months ago, it started to not matter what heat setting it is on. The wax gets way too hot, on the verge of scalding myself. I do not have sensitive skin and could tolerate the hottest setting until now. It may be burning out, but it’s only 2 years old I expected it to have a longer life.

Melina Neufeld: I bought this wax warmer instead a much cheaper (but highly reviewed) one because I've purchased this brand of wax many times before (thanks Sally Beauty!). The plastic housing looks and feels really cheaply made, and the temperature control similarly seems fairly cheap and imprecise. Also the pot collar you put around each pot of wax to prevent wax dripping on the unit is just made of flimsy cardboard, so it's basically disposable and you only get one in the box. But besides all that it worked fairly well for the wax I used. Took about 1 hr to fully heat the large pot of wax on high and kept it at a decent temperature with a little trial-and-error. Definitely easier than microwaving!

Abeera: This was a great little machine but it was very messy to use. On trying to get the wax on a stick it is inevitable that some of it lands on the machine. Overtime the machine gets covered in wax and its a crazy job to clean. Best to warm wax in sauce pan of hot water! Much quicker that way too!
