user: this is a solid can crusher, and it was super easy to install on the wall. i'm glad i read the reviews first though, because they all said you need to squeeze a slight indention into your can before crushing. it's way smother to crush that way. my partner tried to crush one without squeezing the can and I thought he was going to break the crusher before the can. so yeah i can't stress enough definitely squeeze your can a bit first, but then it's smooth crushing!

Boots: After 30 years my old can crusher finally gave out. I was concerned when ordering a replacement that the quality would not be the same as my old one. Especially since there were a few less than positive reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised when it can in and was just like my old one. Something I learned many years ago when it comes to these cam crushers is to dent the can before crushing. This relieves some of the pressure and the can is easier to crush. Maybe that's why my crusher lasted so long. Just a thought for those of you who purchased these. I would highly recommend......

This crusher is very study and easy to use. I am 69 years old with arthritis in both hands and thumbs. This unit works very well, easily crushing my pop cans. It does not hurt my hands when I crush them. The grip is foam covered which also helps to not hurt or injure my hands and thumbs. So nice to save space in my recycle bin. I have had other can crushers that were a joke! They bent but did not crush cans.
Remember to mount the can crusher on a wall where there is a stud. If that is not possible, use those little plastic screw units that expand when screwed into the wall. That will make the crusher stay mounted onto the wall. Mine is mounted into a strong wall stud in my kitchen. Very handy, doesn't take up much space. It looks nice as an additional tool in my kitchen.

Jerome Prieur: Purchased it a little while back and it works like a charm. Very sturdy and well made! I recommend bending the can a little bit before crushing it. Overall, a worth while kitchen asset!

Cathy MillCathy Mill: We mounted it in our garage low enough to allow our grandkids to use it and right next to the recycling bin. It easy for them to use and they know to dent the can before pulling the lever down to crush the cans (8 & 12 oz size). It won’t accommodate 16 oz cans or plastic bottles. We did add a small amount of lubricant grease to allow the lever to move freely as it was a little sticky. Once the lubricant was added it moves with ease. This has become a favorite tool and chore for the grandkids.
