These write straight out of the package, without needing any doodles to get the ink flowing. They write smoothly and look nice. With the exception of the green, which could have been darker, the colors are vibrant and easy to read. I had no idea I could be so pleased with a ballpoint pen!

My fellow coworkers rave about Ink Joy pens. If you can use multi-colors for work, get these to add a bit of fun! They write well--no globs since I've been using them (several months), plus they are pretty in a pencil holder on the desk. :)

I purchased these pens to start (late) 2019/2020 planner. I like a little pop of color in my life and these pens held up to my expectations. Writing is smooth and there aren't any skips in the ink. The colors are wonderful, with the baby blue one being my absolute favorite. I'm not sure how much ink is in them exactly, but as of right now, I'm very happy with my purchase and I would buy again in the future.

I got these because I thought they were the pens my roommate has, with silky smooth ink and beautiful colours. These are nice, and good quality pens with "stylish design," but they write about as well as any other ballpoint pen.
