DRB: I like having a versatile set like this, but it takes longer than I’d like to switch out weights & from dumbbells to bar weight during a workout. I wouldn’t recommend to folks who want to use different lbs within a workout.

Amazon Customer: This product is a great value and caught my eye as someone who is creating a small home gym. This product serves its purpose well. I was pleased with the assembly process. It’s easy and intuitive, although it does take a couple of minutes to reassemble if you want to add or remove weights. But, again, for the price and versatility, I am more than happy with the product. The weights don’t roll. The handle grips are comfortable. The possibilities are endless with the barbell/dumbbell combination. The package is obviously heavy, so the box was slightly torn upon delivery, but the contents were undamaged. My skills are at a beginner/intermediate level and I plan to use these about three times a week for basic strength and toning reps, so these suit my needs well. I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation to me!

Geekgurl36: I noticed that some people reported that their weights looked "dirty" and "scuffed up" when they arrived at their house but my weights were boxed very nicely and in perfect working order. I am a 43 year old woman who is just getting back into exercising. I typically walk for about 30 minutes on my treadmill then I do some light weights training with these. I can't imagine I will ever need more than what this product offered.

It comes with a nice little brochure with examples of exercises you can do with your weights. You can also google around for more. I generally work out my arms and legs using these weights. I haven't purchased a weight bench yet and I am able to do all of the recommended exercises they recommend.

I would suggest you start out at a weight you can tolerate then gradually add more weight from there. It is very easy to get the weights on and off the bar and to convert it from a bar to free weights. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
