D. Terwilliger: These are one of the best adjustable dumb bells on the market for the price IF you're not into heavy weights (translation: Fitness, not body building). I personally have expensive adjustable dumb bells that were easily more than twice the price. Hint: they are square. Yes, they have more weight BUT the Life Pro are actually easier to adjust the weight. I bought the Life Pro's for my grown daughter and had them sent to my house. I opened them for damage (there wasn't any AND the box was pretty well beat up) and tried them just to be sure there wasn't any damage. I was very pleasantly surprised how well they work. Again WELL worth the $$! Would buy again for sure

J D: I like these weights because they are adjustable for the light ranges - 2.5 lbs ea(handles only) to 15lbs ea. The slides that are used to adjust the weights are questionable in durability. But, so far so good!!!

Bill M.: I am 68 years young and recently started a workout routine for guys over 60. I had already purchased a set of bands to use, but as I moved on to further phases, I needed weights, and so I searched and came up with this. Others seemed ok, but the prices were twice what I could afford! Well, not only was the price right on this set, but it is actually a PAIR, not just one! Delivery was fast, condition is excellent, grip, ease of changing weights is simple...even an old guy can do it. I will be looking to see if this company makes increasingly heavier sets as I progress...and I highly recommend.

M.W.M.W.: Pros: I like the grip, and they are REALLY easy to adjust/use which is awesome.
Cons: They roll unless you set them down on the flat part, and if you do any kind of plank/weight work where you put all your weight into the dumbells while they're in your hands.. they will probably destroy your workout mat over time because of how much pressure is going onto one thin edge.
Also: the plates are not accurately weighted.

I was hoping to get rid of all my random hand weights and just have these - especially since I live in a small space.

The bummer for me is that they weigh a bit less than they say they do.
So I've been working out with these 5lb and 10lb dumbells and was hoping to get rid of them and just use these but I felt the difference right away and got my scale out to see if I was crazy or not.

If this doesn't seem like it would bother you.. like maybe you're like "close enough and I'm just going to keep increasing the weight anyway..." then I would go ahead and get these over the name brand ones. They're put together well and do the job.

But if you are looking for exact weights these are not it. I am offering them to my brother to avoid...

Timothy Chan: The dumbbell holder is cracked and broken when we received the dumbbells, otherwise everything is in good order. I think the holder is broken during transfer when the weights are moving around the package. 15 pounds each is a good amount of weight. Still undecided whether I like the clinging sound of the weights moving around when I am lifting.
