Pangdi Cat Harness and Leash Set: Perfect for Stress-Free Walks - Escape-Proof Design

AlpineSheepAlpineSheep: This harness is very solidly constructed. I bought the large and my 15lb Flemish Giant rabbit fits in it with both straps adjusted to about the middle of their range. I love how solidly it wraps on her, it was especially helpful while still training her, I was confident that if she tried to bolt away she wouldn't be in danger of injury as the wrap holds her as gently and securely as if I had my own hands on her. However, my rabbit does not like how thick the chin strap is. It poofs up into her chin space sometimes and annoys her but she usually ignores it. When she does attack it it holds up well - I haven't noticed any parts chewed off yet! Maybe someday I'll transition her to a lighter harness but for now I love this one. The only other thing she's still getting used to is the tearing off of the velcro. It's a very strong velcro and the removal process definitely makes her agitated. However, I can see her slowly adjusting to be comfortable with this as well with proper positive reinforcement.

EthanEthan: I bought two of these harnesses, one for each of our cats. One LOVES being outside, the other needs time to get used to this nonsense. This review will cover both cats in places, but will largely focus on one cat, our 7YO (spayed!!!) girl, Jasper. I've had the harnesses for a little over two weeks now, as well.

1. Fit
How a harness fits is not just dependent on your cat's neck and girth measurements. You need to take your cat's age/life stage into account, too. Jasper, at age 7, is fully grown and filled out. Legosi, our Lykoi neuter, is not quite 2. Basically, he's still growing and filling/evening out.

I got both harnesses in size small. Jasper's (blue) fits her perfectly. Legosi, meanwhile, is a bit thicker in the girth. The harness still fits him, but I'm giving serious consideration to sewing on a Velcro "extension" so the belly strap won't be as likely to come unfastened. The small fits his neck just fine, but not so much his chonky midsection. Keep this in mind if you have a cat under the age of three.

Alexandria maguire: There's not much room to stretch the snap straps. My cat is the proper size and weight for the small according to the descriptions above, but was too small; so my advice is to get the next size up (medium) for cats over a year old. But I did love the thickness and the strength of the material which makes it the best one on Amazon. It's just it's limited on adjustability. And maybe needs longer Velcro straps. But it's the best one out there, others weren't up to the standards on my Savannah boy.

TaylorTaylor: I’ve been wanting to get a harness for my meow. Was kind of hard to measure her because her fur is so thick and fluffy but it fits great. It looks a lil small in the pic but that’s just because she’s a fluff ball. She def hated wearing it though. Overall it’s made good and everything worked as it should.

Brian: In a few days I am packing a 2002 Honda Accord sedan with a friend, a 60 pound dog, and two adult cats to drive from TEXAS to the Smoky Mountains! We needed harnesses to keep the cats safe and make it easier to grab them and put them in their travel cages before we will open doors. Tried out multiple in the store.. and had past experience with others. Was about to purchase two "Sleepypod" harnesses. Called Sleepypod with a question at their base store, left a message... and NEVER received a call back. I guess they didn't need my business! Well.. they didn't get it! ... Purchased these instead. SO GLAD WE DID!!! .. The quality is superior to ANYTHING I have seen in a pet store. They are half the price of Sleepypod, AND you get a FREE bonus leash. The padding is thick enough to restrain the cats,, and easy to hold them with while in the car. THEY DO RUN SMALL THOUGH. Originally purchased the Small and Medium based on sizes listed.. needed the Medium and Large. In the end we went with a silver and red.

COUPLE OF POINTERS:
(1)No cat harness is 100% "Escape Free"... they just aren't. Cats have non attached shoulders, "floating shoulders,"... and this makes it easier for them...
