Bill BrownBill Brown: The media could not be loaded.  We ordered this for easy access to and from our backyard for our two beagles. We got tired of getting up over and over again to let them out and then again when they wanted to come In. We considered the type of doors that attach to the frame of the slider but didn't like the fact that you lose about 15 inches of the width of the door. They are also much more expensive. One of our dogs actually broke the screen scratching to get in so it was time to fix the problem. We love this door. It was easy to install and after a couple days both our dogs have become accustomed and have started using it. We were initially concerned how durable it would be considering it was attached to the screen door. Since we now had a hole on the screen from the scratching, before we installed the dog door we had the door rescreened. I would strongly suggest that if you can, have your door rescreened with the screen that is pet proof. This type of screen is much more durable than normal screen. It's thicker and very strong. Installation of the door was very easy with just a few tools needed. We like the magnetic feature that causes the dog flap to be somewhat secure...

Rita: The was very easy to install directly on our sliding screen door. Our 2 big dogs were scared to use it at first. We offered treats and that was enough incentive to try it. Not they’re totally independent going in and out of the house. It’s been great since one of the dogs was constantly whining to go out or come in. Highly recommend!

Laurel J.: Product works very well and easy to install. Our dogs love it. But I only gave it 4 stars because the design could be improved. The screws and nuts securing the door stick out from the frame and rub the sliding door frame when you slide open the screen door. The company needs to recess the screw heads and nuts into the plastic frame making them flush with the frame.

BCBC: Since I’ve started working from home, my big lab was always asking for the door. Now, I can keep the screen closed and he goes freely about his day. I tried another model with plastic hinges and returned that one back because it seemed like it would break. Also, the 2 halves on this one actually « bolt » together 👍. The magnets are strong enough to keep the door closed preventing bugs from flying in. My sister in law wants one after she saw mine. It’s worth the extra cost in my opinion.

Enakz: Works great. Took a few days for my dog to get used to it but now its like second nature. The door swings both ways easily, and magnets keep it shut so the bugs don't get in. For the not so great. In order to secure the door to each other, you have to use provided 10 tiny bolts with tiny nuts. So you cant really lay it flat because you have to be on both sides of the door at the same time. One hand to screw the bolt and one hand to hold the nut. After a few is in place it gets easier. Hopefully the engineers can figure out a better way.
