Kindle Customer: We took the hammock on a trip and opened it and discovered that there were no straps with the hammock as advertised. We could not use the hammock and have not been able to get straps with the original purchase as intended.

Now my situation is such that I rarely remove gear before bed and never my boots. . The nylon of this hammock must therefore deal with any number of.odd or abrupt edges poking at it regularly. Thus far I have experienced absolutely NO durability/wear & tear issues--the double layer nylon is in fact as Rough as advertised.
Everything else.also.is as advertised--super quick n easy to set up / break down, largely self-contained, and (especially given that I'm a single average size male in a double hammock) extremely roomy. My one criticism is that it does not pack down as small as I'd prefer; luckily I have some.baggage/compression straps which I can use on it as needed to ensure at least the smallest packable size.
Overall, I'm happy to say that I am very pleased thus far with this hammock and recommend.it.heartily for any who may need it.
