P. Shea: I have mild circulation issues in my left foot and ankle due to surgery. A mild case of edema leaves dents in my shin after a day in typical crew cotton dress socks. I didnt need full out compression stocking and they are extremely uncomfortable and quite expensive. I figured over the calf full length black tube socks would fit the bill. I was so right, these are perfect for my needs at 6'3". They are just enough to no longer have the dents in my shin issue and feel great but after 3 washing cycles there are loose elastic fibers inside the sock that get caught on my toes everytime I attempt to put them on. As long as I scrunch up the entire sock and put it on with my toes firmly seated at the far end of the sock then pull them up there is no issue. A slight hassle but well worth the outcome and extremely comfortable feel on my entire foot and calf. And no I dont have unkempt toe nails. Lol

MrsCrashsmith: I have size 14 feet and have a hard time finding socks that don't hurt my heels. I decided to try tube socks and spent the extra money for these ones because they stated that these did not slide down your leg. They slide down my legs faster than the cheap socks. If you are expecting comfort, don't buy these socks.
