Fleur Jamieson: This one extra large storage trunk. Not easy to assemble. I needed help and it took my boyfriend at least 30 minutes. But it's done now and I'm using it in the basement for linen and pillow storage. Very durable and it looks good in the dark brown

JadenJaden: For the first one that I got was completely screwed up missing pieces the box was destroyed I swear it was some item that someone had returned and nobody checked it, after I spent an hour and a half trying to figure it out. the good news is when they sent me a replacement it was much much much much faster than getting the original one LOL okay this one was in great shape except for the new one had some quality control issues with cutting the resin parts cleanly to separate them period easy enough it was okay to fix on my own. I'd read another reviewer said you will know if it's connected correctly because you will definitely hear a snap. I absolutely agree with that because if you don't hear the snap something's wrong. I have to say it took two of us two times to do it and it was probably because the instructions are very screwed up and if you don't get one of the screws all the way through where you can't see it anymore the whole it's supposed to go into it may go off to the side and will put the whole frame off I will not connect together correctly. The lid is a little crooked that I just am working it into getting used to laying down correctly but I have to say I'm so much...

RitaRita: Spent 2.5 hours trying to put this together. Three sides and the bottom were okay to put together, but the last small side was extremely difficult to click into place.

The lid goes on pretty much last and it was then that I noticed it had damage to it, but by then, I had put so much effort into the thing, I figured I'd live with it. If only that was the sole problem!

Unfortunately, that wasn't all. The two latches for the lock, one on the lid and one on the front panel, rub against one another so badly when trying to close the lid, that the lid doesn't close flush. One side always pops up so it doesn't close properly. I may have to remove them completely.

Also, the two long screws for the hinge to go into the back of the box (not the lid) are too long. They were going to tear and come through the plastic underneath, so I used two of the shorter screws from under the box (of course, now I'm two screws short).

Overall, very difficult to get square and proper fit. I called Keter, (the number on the instructions and says to call them first) but they were closed.

It would a real pain to disassemble all this and repack to return but I may have to do...

MN: First, I had no instructions in the box. The only sheet of paper was the one that tells me not to return it to the store. Other than that, I had zero instructions. Thank goodness a quick Google search resulted in the full instructions. Good idea to assemble on carpet but if you got shedding pets, their hair will static cling to this thing like there's no tomorrow. I had one of those duster with the anti static charge that was able to wipe off most of the hair. The bottom of the box is corrugated plastic. There isn't much clearance at the bottom but I can see sagging in the future if you store anything heavy.

Assembly was easy with the instructions except for one major issue. I made a big mistake with the hinges. I thought the corner pieces were just end caps so I push them into the lid first. Instructions showed you're suppose to place the lid on top of the box then push in the corner pieces. However, instructions failed to show that you're suppose to line up the holes on the lid and box before you place those corner pieces on. So I just assume corner end caps was to cover up the holes. I attach the corner end caps to the lid itself making it unable to attach to the box. I...

MrKingMrKing: I ordered this deck box to store 6 cushions for my patio set. It is plenty big, bigger than I expected actually. Assembly was fairly straight forward. Directions were good and all parts were labeled. A cordless drill will make it go faster. Assembly took me less than an hour.

Quality seems good. The bottom is fairly flimsy so I would avoid putting anything too heavy inside but it is sturdy enough for a couple adults to sit on. I have had it for a couple weeks not and we have had a couple heavy rain storms and the cushions inside stay dry.

Great deck storage box for the price.

after reading previous reviews I was a bit worried, but turned out to be quite pleasantly surprised.

1) the instructions were clear and accurate.
2) all of the hardware was packaged and labeled correctly.
3) with a single screwdriver, assembly was straight forward.
4) the finished product is sturdy and holds all of my pool hoses, chemicals, tiki fuel, pool toys, and pool related odds and ends in a tidy, weatherproof, and aesthetically pleasing way right on the pool deck where they belong.

I'm very happy with this purchase and would like to recommend that anyone who would like this box on their deck to buy it and look over the included instructions and proceed from step one through the end all in about 90 minutes. It's a great product.
