JB: Southern California summers can be hot and dry ... perfect conditions for a misting system. Over the years, we've used misting stands and fans with mist nozzles and while they were effective they were all hard to position properly to get adequate mist without getting wet.
We decided to try a misting system mounted overhead to our normal seating area. We already had a string of outdoor "cafe lights" so we attached this misting line to that.
This product was easy to mount with included zip ties and after inserting washers, we turned it on for it's maiden voyage. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 nozzles didn't work. Fortunately, I had replacement nozzles on hand from previous misting systems and was able to get all 7 nozzles working.
Once working, it was just a matter of testing different orientations of the nozzles (they are adjustable) to get the perfect mist. For us, pointing skyward works great, as the mist settles back down to earth at just the right rate to cool our sitting area to what feels like a 10 - 12 degree difference.
All in all, a great solution and we plan to order more Homenote systems to cover our patio and eating area.
I would recommend ordering replacement...

AronAron: The media could not be loaded.  See my video for how it works. This was on our list for a couple years and finally got this brand. It came coiled up and unwrapped easy. Sorry didn’t take a picture of that. Well worth the money as it brings the temp down enough that you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. It’s a fine mist but will eventually get the deck wet if running long enough. It came pre assembled which was great. Ofcourse it also depends on the wind. This one was able to reach all around my deck and more so I could also water my plants in the hanging containers. It would also be great for around a trampoline or a greenhouse and if I needed another one for that I would buy this brand. 3 years and counting and no problems at all and that makes it worth it and I have some spare parts if need be when the time comes. Everyone who comes to our house in the summer loves this. I would highly recommend.

debbie: We purchased this system to cool down our deck during the heat wave… the price seems overly expensive for what you get and It definitely was not pre assembled. The spray of water that comes out is quite intense and although it feels good it literally soaks all of the cushions of the furniture which is not ideal. It may work in larger settings better.

Amazon Customer: I used these misters in two very different applications, in the first greenhouse they sat straight above the plant, (about 12"), worked perfectly. in the second they were much higher (between 6' and 8') and they produced too narrow of a spray pattern.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat if you are misting at close range for plants but they are too fine and directed for anything higher.
