BPA: So upon opening the package, this thing stunk bad! The tubing was greasy, or oily.
Anyhow, I put it together, only used 6 nozzles on our deck. Turn it on and like others have said, some of the tee's leak. After running it for about 15 minutes, it dropped the temp about 10 degrees! Make no mistake, you and everything in range will get wet, but when it's 90 degrees out, it feels great! I think I'm going to buy some more ridgid tubing instead of the cheap, soft crap it came with.

KAALPHigg: I've purchased 2 sets of these. Comes disassembled with tube, mist nossel tees, zip ties, and tube cutter. This gave me flexibility to configure the spread of the nossels as I chose. I used one line to cool my patio and purchased a second to cool my chickens during the summer heat. I've had some leaks at the copper where the tube joins with the nossels, however they were remedied by properly reseating the tube pressing more firmly into the nossel attachment. The longevity has been good. I've had one set over a year and it continues to work well despite being left out over winter below freezing temperatures.

Tanndog: The media could not be loaded.  I use this for temperature peak shaving in a lean to greenhouse where when it is 98 out I can’t keep temp under 115 with forced air ventilation.

The tube is rather thick which is good but the tube is rather thick which makes getting it push into the fittings tightly a little of a pain and that causes dripping or spraying, with care this can be avoided. I have no drips or spraying from fittings until the water is off.

This is a pretty fun must but though a fine mist this is a lot of water. To clarify, I spaced the nozzles 3 feet apart to prevent so much water in an area so it wouldn’t saturate the area. My point is to peak shave not wet everything. If you just want temp to drop and don’t care if stuff gets doused then go for it, if you want even cooling with conserving water then you will want to buy more tube than is provided.

Note, there is only one end cap in the form of a 90 degree spray nozzle and then the supply connection. If you plan to split the tube in different directions you will need to buy more than on kit or find a nozzle, unless you plan to bend the pipe.

The connection to the hose fits properly no leaks no issues (in Canada). No conversion parts needed like stated before in the reviews.
Great product for those humid days under the gazebo or could be used for garden.
Highly recommended.

Mark Giesbrecht: Agree with a lot of the other reviews the 3/4” connection doesn’t fit Canadian garden hoses had to find an adapter at a local Home Depot, once set up anything underneath is soaked in minutes I was planning on having a fine mist around pool area and inside a gazebo but the adjustable nozzles give off too much water.

matthewjtrotter: There is a lot of mis-information in these reviews about the included connectors/adapters. The included connectors are 1/2" & 3/4" NPT (this is a STANDARD in North America). You can find connectors for NPT connections anywhere and for cheap.

If you want to connect this directly to a garden hose, you need a $6 adapter that converts from MHT (Male Hose Thread) to 1/2" MPT (Male Pipe Thread).

Other than that, I ordered two, one came with a couple extra parts. Heating up the hose ends with a hair dryer for 5 seconds made pushing the connectors on easily. The nozzles mist nicely (we have split the garden hose connection and run both misting kits and there is still plenty of pressure). Without the appropriate water pressure I could imagine this wouldn't mist well and might drip more. Again, I have two systems hooked up to a single feed and it works great.

ClydeClyde: The mister is basically a good idea and does work to some extent. The adaptor that came with the unit was for British faucets, not for North American 3/4 hose connection ( thread count different). I had to use a water tap in reverse for it to work ( see photo). The mister nozzles have to be placed far from the area where you want to cool because the mist atomized water is not fine enough which results in totally soaking the area and yourself. Since you can’t increase the water pressure, the nozzle holes would need to be smaller or of a different design. I have installed it and it does cool but like I said leaves the area totally soaked in water. Probably better suited for grocery store timed misting of veggies.
I tried to contact the supplier Redtron at the email address on the instruction sheet (globalmarketselling@gmail.com) but did not get a response. The product was not expensive so it was worth a try. Would I buy it again, no.
