Outdoor Fire Table - Endless Summer GAD15258SP - Liquid Propane Gas Fueled

Sue: Just received and assembled today. We love the tile top with grout and the overall aesthetic. As other reviews have suggested, assemble in the styrofoam after placing box on its side, sliding the entire unit out and assembling upside down. Directions were clear enough and all parts were in the box. The leaf cut-out feature on the side panels and door are more "cut out" than I realized and the white propane tank is clearly visible; I'm going to do something to make the tank less visible. One panel was bent (maybe during shipping), but didn't affect assembly. Had no trouble lighting and looking forward to using it on those chilly nights.

Kiley Bugaieski: I have owned this product for a year and a half now. It has endured 2 Illinois winters. The first winter, I put it away in a shed. This past winter, however, I took the lazy route and gave it a test of durability by leaving it out all winter, propane tank included. It's now April and I just tried to fire it up (pun intended) for the first time since November. It fired right up, good as new.
The one critique that I have is that it does not produce very much heat. Don't expect this fire pit to keep you warm on a brisk spring or fall evening. It's mesmerizing to watch the flames and makes for a great ambiance, but it's not very functional. I'm currently shopping for a portable propane heater to have in addition to this for a source of heat. I think this is being sold at a very fair price point for what you get and overall, I love my propane fire pit!

Pro tips:
-to get the flame to ignite, hold the knob in for 20 seconds or so.
-purchase a new cover. The one it comes with is extremely cheap and thin. After mine became tattered beyond functional use, I (ignorantly) let mine accumulate bird poop for the past 6 months without a cover instead of just...

Amazon Customer: J'avais peur que quelque chose ne fonctionne pas ou soit brisé mais tout s'est très bien passé. L'emballage est robuste et rien n'était éraflé ou bossé. Facile à assembler et solide à la fin quand tout est bien vissé. C'est sûr qu'à ce prix, j'aurais inclus de plus belles roches. Important aussi d'avoir une "cover" noir pour la bouteille de propane qui va paraître beaucoup à travers les côtés.

George Johnson: The fire table was well protected from shipping damage. A lot of engineering went into the packaging. None of the parts were damaged. There were no scuffs, dents, or broken tiles. The table was shipped using FedEx which also attributed to no damage. The fire table assembled easily, just leave all of the screws loose until everything is assembled. The top is very sturdy with heavy metal construction and the tiles appear to be quite thick. The legs are made of lighter metal and need all of the side pieces and frame for the tank to be assembled to give the legs strength. I would not attempt to slide the table around. Two people can pick it up to move it easily. We bought the propane tank from Tractor Supply Co. The igniter works well and the burner produces a nice flame and a lot of heat. We are very happy with the quality and appearance of the fire table.

sageweimsageweim: I ordered this propane fire table to use in the summer when we are almost always under a fire ban. It is very attractive. The hubby put it together in about 2hrs, though he had to go to reviews for more information as the assembly directions lack info on the order of putting together the sides and door. Also he said the screws stripped easily (parts are not the best quality, reflecting the inexpensive cost compared to other like items which cost twice as much and more). Nevertheless, once together, it looks quite nice and works very well—one would never know it was under $400. It does not put out much heat, but it has good flames, more for aesthetics. Then again it’s nice to not have smoke in one’s face as with wood burning fire pits. We easily fit 8 chairs comfortably around it. Overall, we prefer a wood burning fire pit, but when burning is not allowed—this fits the bill fine. Definitely worth the money if you are looking for something to bring ambience to your outdoor area when wood burning is not an option.

J. MinatelJ. Minatel: I'm going to start with the WARNING that should be on the label: the "fire glass" are chunks and shards of brown broken glass. I've attached a photo to show the relative sizes of the glass chunks from "thumb size" all the way down to "tiny slivers." Many of these have potentially dangerous sharp edges. DO NOT attempt to handle these without something like leather work gloves. When you dump out the boxes of glass, I'd suggest you dump them onto one of the large cardboard pieces from the box so you can pick through to get the usable large pieces out and then dump the tiny dangerous shards into your garbage with the cardboard.

Now with that out of the way, they table itself is very nice. I like the look and it seems well built. It was especially easy to assemble, taking less than 30 minutes, not anywhere near the hour the instructions said. Oh, the leg levelers are a very nice touch and worked great to level this on my uneven patio.
A couple of tips:
1. The 4 legs are not identical but are not marked or identified as different. The 2 "front" legs where the door will go have a couple of slight additional pieces. Be sure those are where you want them and...
