Matt: For the price I am extremely happy with this purchase.

The assembly was very easy and straight forward, the sides snapped on then the front and back then the top snaps on and closes securely.

The size is excellent, the old Rubbermaid one i had was to small (more expensive but also higher quality) for my patio cushions so I decided to get a bigger box. Size and price were my primary concern. This box could easily fit 12 patio cushions. I have standard size single seat cushions that all fit with space around each side and the lid doesn't sit on them when they close so I know it closes well, unlike the old rubbermaid one that was just to small for patio cushions.

After set up I sat on the side of this thing and it feels pretty solid (I tip the scales at about 200 lbs), I wouldn't use it as a seat but if one of my guests tries unless they are very heavy I think it would be alright

I wouldn't leave this thing out fully exposed all winter or during a major storm but I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to a friend/ buy another of I needed it

Me: this is BIG! I was so surprised just how big this box is. It fit all my top and bottom cushions for a couch, two chairs and three pillows. Awesome. Putting it together was interesting, I tossed the instructions and went on my own and found it to be easy. The most difficult part was lining up the three hinges. I ended up standing it on end and like magic the hinges lined up and I was done. It looks great, sturdy and you can sit on top. I haven't put a cushion on yet, not sure it you really want or need one. I think it will only blow off being there's no way to attach it anyhow. There is a small storage space on the lid, it's the brown strip towards the back top...not sure what you would put in there, but it's there if you need it. All in all this was a great deal and easy to put together...no tools required, just snaps together.

RRR III's Grandma: The box arrived undamaged. It is in the original box with the picture on it so if it is a gift you might want to make sure the recipient isn't around. There are six pieces inside with instructions that are quite clear. Myself and my 13 year old grandson put it together in less than 30 minutes. The only reason it took that long is we had recently put together a Suncast patio cooler and the instructions were a little confusing and we ended up putting a piece in before we should have and had a difficult time getting it apart so we were a little gun shy and went very slowly making sure we did everything right. It went together perfectly and snapped as it should. I was a bit concerned because initially the pieces seems a bit flimsy. However once it was all together it was sturdy. I bought it to store a large backyard inflatable slide. The slide fit in along with the pump to inflate it and will also be able to store my cushions from my patio set this winter. I am extremely pleased with the size. I was so happy I ordered another one for my 3 year grandsons toys in the backyard. Now I have somewhere to put all the toys including his tricycle and scooter and...

Mauimama: EDITED REVIEW. Be aware. DANGEROUS feature.
Below, see the comments on the lid and how it is/is not held up. The plastic straps that hold the lid on the back of the box only prevent it from falling back. When the lid is opened, nothing keeps it from falling closed. Although I am aware if this, I have had the lid close and hit me on the head when I was reaching down to get something out of the box. It hurt. I also have to be very careful that no little fingers are in the way if the lid falls since the plastic is so thin and sharp edged that I'm sure it would seriously hurt my grand kids' hands. I'm really disappointed in the Suncast name. The safety quality of this box is far below that of their other products I have purchased and enjoyed in the past. End of edit. For this reason, I would recommend purchasing this with caution and plans to either cushion the bottom lip of the lid or somehow modify the plastic straps that attach to the lid.

stevebomber: The box was easy to assemble. Fairly sturdy holds two adults as a bench but it is a bit high for a bench. The main compartment was watertight and held five double cushions with room to spare. The lid storage compartment cover is slightly warped and leaks. You can store small items in it that you don't mind getting wet like small plastic toys. overall a good value for the cost. It accomplished what I purchased it for, to keep my cushions dry.
