So far I have only used it for ripping softwood but has worked great.

C. L. B.: I needed an 8 in blade for an old table saw. Only thing available locally was 7 in and 9 in so this worked great.

Capt Patch: Good blade, no issues. I bought it for my old Craftsman table saw, and it works fine for general carpentry around the house.

Darlene Richards: Was looking for replacements for my dado blades. My current set is Sears Craftsman and I noticed one blade is just a hair smaller leaving maybe a .5mm shoulder I needed to sand down in a 1/4" finger box joint. Saw these and thought worth a try for the 8" size and price point. They are a thinner kerf blade as advertised. Cutter on my 10" blade is .121" (approx measurements) this blade .100 ish. Bought 2 blades and stacked with the chipper blade spacer 0.025 and did a test dado. Result .184, Sears blades with 0.01 spacer result was .249.
When compared to my initial Sears dado cut into my home made box joint jig, the inner edge of the cut was just short when compared to cut made with the Sears blades. Which makes sense when the blade is thinner. So true blade interchangeability is not happening however these blades do size nicely to the chipper.
Now what I am very impressed with is the primary cutting ability. I may keep these 8" blades in my saw for general use. My decision is based on the clean cut especially when trimming the edge of oak 1x4 to square. My 10" blade when trimming the oak to square it likes to deflect away from the wood. This 8" blade, being thinner than the...

Erwin: I have a Dado set that got damaged when my nut fell off and one blade got destroyed in the process. It was the blade closet to the nut that ended up with 3 broken teeth. I was not sure if one had to buy a new Dado set or just replace that one blade.
I decided to take a chance and buy this blade to replace the one that broke. I was concerned that maybe this blade may be 1 millimeter shorter or taller and as such one would have a deeper groove or less deep. However both were exactly 8 inch blades with 24 teeth.
It cuts perfectly and I made a lot of dado cuts with it since I bought it. I also find it cuts razor sharp and am leaving it in my table saw as my main blade now.
I recommend this blade and for the price it is really amazing. Now not sure how long it will last but so far real good.

ChrisW: With all those teeth is makes very smooth cuts. I'm working with red oak at the moment and this blade is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. The cross cuts are very good and I am very satisfied with the results. I've only had it for a couple weeks and so far it's not lost any teeth yet but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

d00dy: My elderly Dad informed me recently , that he hasn't been able to find an 8 inch table saw blade for his old Beaver table saw for about 20 years now. He has been using a circular saw blade instead, which is only 7 1/4 inch, rather than not being able to use the table saw. I had checked all the hardware stores in our area, and the closest I could find was an 8 1/4" table saw blade, and purchased it, but had to return it, as it was just a tad to large to fit the throat plate of his table saw. My last resort was to check Amazon out, and low and behold, I found this 8 inch blade. It fit perfectly, and my Dad is now smiling from ear to ear when using his old reliable table saw, which he built his home with back in 1959. The blade has a nice thin kerf, and the 24 tooth Oshlun blade cuts extremely smooth effortlessly. Thank you Amazon, and thank you Oshlun, for making this blade still available to those who still own these old reliable table saws.

NBC OH: If you have any brand of "older saw" you know how difficult it is to find this size blade. I bought two, just in case it worked. It did, so I'm set for years. Cuts well and does all I need it to do.
