Original Series Bucket Boss Wrench Roll Tool Bag (70003)

PReinie: I got one for my metric wrenches and another for SAE.
It makes it easier to find the size wrench I need.
It keeps them from banging each other when I hit a bump. (Stops the sound like someone rattling chains.)

The only thing I don't like is that canvas makes it hard to write METRIC or SAE on the outside, and to label each size wrench on the inside with a Sharpie, and it messes up the surface of the Sharpie.

GS: This is a simple wrench roll. Seems to be well made. I wish it had a few more bigger slots to fit two of each metric and standard wrench but it fits most of them.

I bought this to roll up inside the XL tool roll and it works great for that.

Pat Harper: needs 6 inches and 3 more pockets, other than that it would be perfect. Looks like I will have to make what I need. It is durable cotton canvas and works well for the wrenches it holds, but like I said I have three more wrenches above 1 inch.

J. Busse: Bought it for my Icon 10mm-19mm open end ratchets. They are about 20% longer than comparable ratchets. The 19mm is about 14" long. The pouch is tall enough to handle them. I am guessing 15" is about as long a wrench you would put in this pouch. The smaller pockets are a little tight but acceptable. At least they won't slide out on their own. Thick enough for protection. Not a bad price.

J Osborne: This is the second one of these for me. It's a good wrap, reasonably durable although the stitching isn't the best quality or most durable. It's hard to find a wrap that isn't huge but this one has just enough pockets to handle the average set you'd want in a bag. Some of the pockets are an odd width on the smaller side of the row, but do take note that these are pretty deep. I have an older set of Sunex medium-long length and they fit great in this wrap, but standard wrenches will get swallowed up unless you size down one or two spots...if those spots are still wide enough. I wish this wrap had two small pieces of webbing with ladder locks rather than just a single tie, but that would be easy to add yourself, and I've never had a wrench fall out anyway. These aren't the same construction or material quality from the Bucket Boss products years ago but they're still good.

wilbuild: It is an 11 pocket holder; I had to take the 5 smallest pockets apart and have them resewn into 4 pockets so that the smallest wrenches of a 10 wrench ratchet set from Canadian Tire would fit; while I was at it I had a horizontal sew line added so that some of the bigger wrenches would not disappear in the deep pockets.

The pocket roll, with adjustments, works. Canvas is mediocre quality, not really sure if it is real canvass or some type of poly fabric - comes with a spooky warning for California purposes that it may cause cancer or birth defects.

I am Canadian and paid close to $20 for this and bought 2 of them and both were rebuilt at a sewing shop. Both products had inconsistent pocket sizes - they were not identical (variances between the pair exceeded 1/4"). The manufacturer didn't use a template and didn't have a set of wrenches in hand. Possibly a quality control issue.

My standards are higher. I shouldn't have had to pay a sewing shop to rebuild the product to make it work. If Amazon reads this please consider thanking me for the review and sending my money back.

Don't buy the Bucket Boss 70003 unless you are prepared to rebuild it.

Amazon Customer: So in full disclosure, the wrench roll by Bucket Boss on the amazon didn't match what I received. Apparently Bucket Boss has changed their specification on the product so it wasn't as large as advertised. So once I discovered this, I reached out to Bucket Boss about the difference in size. The customer service person confirmed the size I received wasn't the correct size according to all the information she had available. So the customer service gal asked me to take some pictures against a ruler so they could see the size difference and send the pictures to them. Within 24 hrs I had an email from the VP of Marketing, I wish I had saved his name because I would certainly be giving him a shout out! His email explained how Bucket Boss had changed their specification for this particular product.....now he could have stopped there and washed his hands of me but he didn't. Instead he said, " let me look into it and see what we can do" So true to his words he got backed to me and explained he was have three wrench rolls made to the original specification and sending them to gratis. WOW! What an outstanding customer service experience.
