Z2: This is the perfect book case to fit in a small space. I have mine in a corner in a hallway that would've otherwise gone wasted. The assembly was a little daunting but really not difficult. It's a very sturdy and attractive piece for the price. I think this design is less likely to tip over than most.

MistellaMistella: Packaged very well. Lots of parts and steps, but quite easy to assemble. I was able to put it together fine on my own in about 45 minutes, but it would be a lot simpler with an extra pair of hands! Quality is quite good, especially for the price point. Very sturdy, beautiful wood tone. All around recommended.

D. S.: This is a really well made ladder shelf bookcase. I was very impressed at how well packaged this came. Nothing was damaged, or scratched. My son put it together for me in under 40 minutes. Instructions were very clear. All the screws, etc were with this piece. Even has a leather strap on the back to fasten it to your wall, keeping it from tipping. A well made USA product. Price was very reasonable. I really love it. I bought it to house some of my BBW candle holder collection. Thanks Sauder for a beautiful piece of furniture.

dlb: Easy to assemble. There were a couple of cross pieces at the end that didn't line up with the holes but I switched them around and they were fine. I've bought furniture from this manufacturer before and generally their instructions are pretty clear.
