Organize and Streamline Storage with ToteScan Intelligent QR Labels

Wanting to organize multiple areas in my home, I ordered ToteScan. I couldn’t be happier with the product.

I’ve linked ToteScan with Alexa, and learned how to appropriately search. For example “find star bit screws” pulled up all my star bit screws, but saying “find my star bit screws” didn’t work because the word “my” wasn’t in the description or title. If you say “find screws star bit”, it’ll find them with no problem, as the order of the words don’t matter.

You have an option to make your ToteScan QR codes private or public. Because the information is stored in the cloud, anyone in my family can scan the QR code that is public with their camera and click the open QR code through their browser and it brings up the contents with pictures. Because there are no duplicate QR codes sold, I’m comfortable with making my totes “public”. I REALLY like this feature, and have included a small video to demonstrate.

I haven’t hit a limit on pictures / items in one container, yet. My first aid box has 32 pictures / items...

Travis W.: I was really excited when I found this product - I struggle with organization and storage like many people do. In actual use, I ran into some issues.
Firstly, each tag is small and there is only one. I would like at least two of each barcode, and one be much larger - that way I could label at least two sides of each box or tote that I use.
Secondly, the interface is not great. What I was hoping for was something faster and more automated. This app can scan barcodes, which works for books new enough to have them, but how many of the items you have within arms reach of you right now have a bar code? In order to photograph items, you have to hit the camera icon, which then brings up a sub-menu where you can choose between photos stored on your device or taking a new picture - why would I already have photos of my stuff on my phone? Ideally for me, hitting the camera icon would just open the camera, I would photograph the book or item, and then when I approved the picture it would save it automatically. Each item you add using this current app is *six* separate steps - for me this really defeats the purpose. I could just write a description of the thing on a post-it note in less...

Anna: My husband collects things that get stored in a large tote at the moment and these have been great for knowing what is where. We have also been able to print out the catalog for insurance so we can make sure we have evidence of what the item is and it's current value since it takes a photo and then ties it to a online sale with current market value. Highly recommend!

Brooklyn: App is spot on. Easy to navigate. Many features like description and quantity. Scan barcode of product and it searches for the product and voila. Few don’t scan but most do. No need to type in product name or take a photo. But you can. Wowzee. Organizing my kitchen cabinets cuz I’m sick and tired of buying duplicates. Stick the QR code in an inconspicuous spot inside of cabinet. This brand is better then the other QR stickers with the app which charge a yearly fee. Would not unlock features unless you sign up. Returned and purchased these. Highly recommend if you’re an organizing maniac.

Melanie: I am so happy I found these; they make my life so much easier! I use these regularly for my reselling business to locate inventory in lieu of giving each item an individual sku, I just add one of these to the box and make sure each item added had a good, searchable description. I also use these for storage totes in the garage, which has been especially helpful in knowing what totes to grab when looking for certain holiday decor that's stored away. The app is very easy to use and I haven't had any issues. I like that I can share the totes with others, but I'm still working on getting family members on board. These have been great though. The smaller ones work just fine for any size item I'm storing and is a great value. Will continue using these into the future.

Hollie Milburn: I just love these so much - my entire house and workplace is all labelled up and organised. When I need to find a specific document I can just check my phone without rifling through my office. When I need to know what's in the pantry while I am shopping- it's all there. Etc etc. Handy for insurance purposes too.
