C.B.: Please consider this as top quality! It arrived two days after purchase, securely packaged. The glass was in tact and the wood was well protected! No scuffs, scratches or cracks. I looked at all the reviews before selecting this one. I am SO pleased with this. I found several that were comparable but priced lower. I am glad I spent the extra 20-30 dollars on this one! I am really appreciative of honest reviews of the other products that helped me choose this one. I am glad I chose wood, not carbon fiber or leather. No worries, this keyhole on this box is aligned perfectly straight. The lid will rest open without slamming shut/falling down. The glass is raised enough from the pillow slots that bulky watches will not touch it. The pillows are suitable for wide watches. We have already placed two citizens and a bracelet in with absolutely no problem. The two large pillows are stuffed with pillow fluff and covered with a good quality velvet-like fabric. It is not cheap like felt. The five small pillows are filled with a more firm material and covered by that same velvet-like fabric. Every small pillow slot has a small divider wall. Victor Kent: I was in the market for a nice way to display my ever growing collection of watches and wanted something that was both good looking and well designed. Fortunately with this watch case I got both! The price was great as I found comparable cases going for quite a bit more when I was researching. The color of the wood is very well done and has a tasteful look to it, and appears directly as the images displayed. The lock and key however were poorly designed, as they don't function correctly on the model I received. Fortunately I was not going to use the key, however since I have seen other reviews of this case with that same common complaint, I don't understand why this isn't something the manufacturer hasn't fixed. Also to lesser degree I did have to leave the box open for a day to air out the smell (one I found unpleasant). Overall however, this is definitely a product that I would recommend to customers that are wanting to display their watches proudly! Four out of five stars.

Pros:
1) Great finish and material. Item received looks exactly as the images displayed.
2) The glass doesn't move around and jiggle and I feel confident placing my watches inside of this...

GT Photography: Wow, is what I titled this review because that is the best word to describe this case. Where do I begin. I own 9 different watches and was tired of just placing them in a drawer. Granted, they are not all museum pieces and some of them are inexpensive and some of them are what I consider high end. This watch case makes no distinction as it displays all of them with equal class. The quality of the case is top notch. It includes the more expensive glass lid not cheap plastic. The wood case itself is heavy and feels solid. The key lock is a nice added touch and the soft pillows are excellent for holding all different sizes of watches. I have some normal and oversize watches and all fit well. I can also store extra leather bands under the large pillows, an unexpected bonus. I am very satisfied with my purchase and now I show off my watches in my quality display/storage case. Thanks Amazon for making available quality products at very affordable prices and providing quick delivery. Amazon is the best!

theatre geek: I purchased this product as a birthday gift for my brother. Overall I am pleased with the finish and masculine look. Also a plus is the glass window. The other watch boxes within this price range were plastic, which is prone scratching. There is room for improvement with the pillows and lining. Although soft, the material is lower grade and has a lite odor from the die. The odor is one that you can tell will go away in a few days with air exposure. The only bummer about this product is the lock. The opening for the key is considerably larger then the key, which makes it difficult to tell if you have engaged the tumbler. The lock kind of functions once you get the key in correctly, but it reminds me of the saying, "locks only keep honest people out." A five year old could pick it. However, since this is not the watch box you would own for a Rolex collection, just keep the box unlocked. The lock is attractive and adds to the overall look of the box, it just does not function well. Overall a nice product for price.

JP in AZ: This is a very beautiful box. The wood finish is the perfect shade to look just a bit aged, but still very classic. It is very well made and looks much more expensive. I think the only thing I would prefer is if they were all seperate pillows instead of the 2 big pillows. I have my smaller watches (ladies) on those and can fit 3 each just fine, but prefer they each have their own pillows and why it didn't get 5 stars. I have 3 fairly large ladies watches (Invicta, Android, Stuhrling) and all fit with plenty of room. I would expect any large mans watch to fit well. Some of the really oversized ones may not. As I collect more watches than I can fit (only have one space left) I would buy another without hesitation. The key is pretty but not real useful :-) It was shipped in packaging appropriate to secure the glass and keep the finish from scratching. Overall quite impressed for what I paid for it.
