James J. Stewart: I prefer cooking this rice in my slow cooker. After spraying the pot with cooking spray (Pam), I cook one cup of rice in nine cups of water over low heat for 7-1/2 to 8 hours. I made a few experiments, ranging in 8 to 10 cups of water, and adding a teaspoon of salt. Make sure to soak the rice for a couple of hours and wash it before cooking! It eliminates possible impurities. Various Asian webpages say they always wash the rice before cooking, no matter the method of cooking. Therefore, rice is less likely to be starchy or sticky.

M Shaffer: Some rice from the grocer needs quite a bit of rinsing. This rice, though, is clean and has a good texture and taste, also. Yes, I would recommend this.

Webfoot: Brown rice is so much healthier than polished white rice, and has a chewy, nutty flavor I love. This is a good brand. I cook it in instant pot, covered with water and a bit more, for 15 minutes. Yummy!

Margaret Gill: Jasmine rice is the queen of rice, and this is the queen of them all! You'd think all jasmine brown rice brands would taste the same, but I assure you they don't. This has just the right flavor and texture. I don't know why it tastes so much better than all the others, but it does. It's the only one my son will eat, so I was thrilled to find it here on Amazon. My favorite was to fix it is in my Instant Pot (1:1 rice to water ratio), with a big pinch of salt and bit of olive oil. It's delicious!

evelina: This rice has a great flavor. I have used plain without anything else and with veggies and just a small amount of soy sauce. Both ways taste good. The thing though to keep in mind is that there is no margin of error to avoid over or under cooking. The exact amount of water is required as described in the instructions. Otherwise the rice turns out under or overcooked.
