Kelli: I have tried MULTIPLE brands of coconut oil over the past several years since I bought into the coconut oil craze. I use the stuff for just about everything, from first aid to beauty, and I also put it into my coffee every morning.

In my house, we have two different coconut oils that we keep on hand. The first one is this stuff, which I specifically use for my coffee. It melts quickly, does NOT have an overpowering smell or taste, and makes my coffee smooth and delicious. The other kind we have in the house is whatever I happen to get from a local store to tide me over after running out of this stuff, because none of my local stores actually sell this brand.

So, if you are putting the coconut oil into your coffee, this is the one for you. If you're using it for beauty/health applications, it's probably also great, but I kind of hoard it specifically for my coffee.

MB: I bought this to use as a beauty product for my skin and hair. It has a light coconut scent and leaves skin soft and supple. I also tried it in my hair and wow! what a difference. I relax my thick curly hair and it is really dry and breaks. After one use, I shampood my hair, towel dried it, added a spoonful of coconut oil all over my hair and left it in for a hour. Washed it with a little bit more shampoo and a good amount of conditioner. It left my hair really soft and manageable! Really impressed with the outcome and will use it again. The only downside is the tub was a little oily/greasy which isn't great for the pipes.

Abby: Coconut Oil is great and has many benefits, but I purchased this one specifically for beauty (hair & skin) purposes. I love that it has everything I am looking for: cold pressed, organic, unrefined, extra virgin. I live in a hot climate so naturally mine arrived as a liquid. The packaging unfortunately couldn't hold up with all that liquid inside so one of the corner seams of the container split almost from top to bottom causing leakage. I contacted Amazon and true to their AMAZING customer service, I was refunded the same day without having to send pictures or go through any long hassle, it literally took me less than 2 minutes, no questions asked! There was still 80% of the oil left so even though quite a bit of it leaked I would repurchase through Amazon as I can't get this specific coconut oil locally and I feel if I have any issues I can get my money back. Mine sits on my dresser in my room and again, I do live in a hot climate so it is completely 100% liquid. Since the original container split I store it in an old small, plastic, JIF peanut butter container that obviously is clean and has no traces of peanut butter left in it.

Rebeca A. Collazo: I use coconut oil everyday to sauteé foods and as a substitute for butter on brown rice, potatoes, etc. It's not only healthier, it tastes delicious too. I have used this oil all my life, because I'm Dominican and this oil is a staple in my island. I used to help my mother make this oil from scratch in our kitchen since I was a little girl. It was a long, tedious process! But it smelled so good, and I got to eat lots of little pieces is yummy coconut pulp. We use this oil to cook delicious foods, as well as a natural medicine to prevent and treat constipation. My mother used to give me half a teaspoon of melted oil with a pinch of sea salt on an empty stomach everyday, first thing in the morning to keep me regular. But the most popular use would be as a hair growth stimulant and conditioner (mostly infused with rosemary leaves) which leaves the hair shiny, soft and silky. It also treats psoriasis, dandruff, chapped skin and lips, and weak brittle nails. It also does wonders for dry skin!
