Kaura: For those who want the health value but don't really have anything to compare it to and don't know what it taste like, this tastes like sunflower seeds unsalted which is great for me. I know that we're just supposed to sprinkle it on to foods but honestly, I do find myself just nibbling on it throughout the day. Actually it's kind of hard to stop. It came packaged well, it does close back up, the ziplock effect is useful and actually works unlike some other products, but I like this a lot. It's cheap, it tastes good, it's super healthy and can add texture to meals if you want that.

Amazon Customer: I just received my pack of these hemp seeds. I used to eat hemp seeds but stopped buying them for some reason so I thought I would pick up the habit again.

You get exactly what you see. I received a white bag with organic, raw hemp seeds straight from Romania in it. Like the other reviews said, the hemp seeds were moist, which I sort of like.

I get up at 5 am to workout everyday and need something quick to eat. So I take a spoonful of these hemp seeds and some coconut oil, chug water, and hit the gym. Another thing that is great about them as you probably already know, they have all the necessary amino acids , 9 which your body cannot produce on its own.

Great product, will buy again.

Health Foodie: I had bought some hemp seeds at a health food store a few years ago, but did not like the taste....on the bitter side and "green" tasting...so it sat in the fridge for over and year and was tossed. I knew nothing about hemp seeds at the time.

Lately, I have had some health issues, so I had been researching super foods and came across hemp. Wow!!! If I had known all the benefits, I would have explored other options!! So, I went to my favorite "store," Amazon, and found many different brands. Manitoba and Healthworks both had a lot of good reviews. Helathworks being nearly half the price of Manitoba, I just had to try it. But then, Manitoba had such glowing reviews that I had to try it as well! So, I ordered both to do a taste test.

Healthworks
Quite moist...so that the seeds were clinging to the sides of the bag. Larger seed kernals. More dark specks. Has a "green" odor. Tasted "green" as well. I could not stomach it....my taste buds rejected it.

Manitoba Organic
Kind of dry, but not bone dry. Seed kernels were smaller. Less dark specks. Has a nutty scent. Tasted more nutty....delicious!! Wow!! I actually like hemp now! I tasted a spoonful and I just kept...
