Mom made homemade pasta sauce and boiled water for the organic rigatoni I had raved about as they were cooked about a movie less than suggested and I loved them aldente.. My mom cooked them 2 minutes OVER and want happy as they all fell apart. Taste good still but she wanted little to know to definitely follow the suggestions for cooling time as these do soften quite a bit. In changing rating to 3 stars from 5.
Excellent Italian rigatoni , especially great if you don't want your pasta noodle to get so soft they begin to break apart. We love this because it's organic, made with salmolinna flour from Italy, and tastes great in a nice red pasta sauce!
It's a higher quality and more durable pasta. It's going to take a couple minutes longer in your boiling water but you'll likely find us totally worth the extra few minutes of waiting.
It's excellent if you want your pasta or rigatoni Aldente, where it will have a slight bite you'll notice when eating it. For my family it represents a higher grade of rigatoni and allows our pasta sauce to adhere perfectly to the lined noodle him Italy.
